blwnsmoke
I have to admit and then probably vomit for actually admitting it... but I really like the look of the SS in these pictures (minus the black rims)... https://www.yahoo.com/autos/s/2016-chevy-camaro-ss-caught-wild-110017691.html

Dave-S
I like the 2016 Camaro. I don't like the current one. I also like the old Mustang (2014) much better than the current one. Edited July 9, 2015 by Dave-S
rmc523
That's the new one? It looks like a mild refresh of the current one in those pictures.

PREMiERdrum
It's nice that the Camaro and ATS share so much design language. It really helps solidify brand identity. Wait, what?

akirby
I still don't like it, but I think it's better than the old one - a bit more svelte. But the beltline is way way way too high.
twintornados
Is it made from high strength steel too??

Dave-S
Here is a picture of the Mustang and camaro overlayed on each other. To me there isn't much difference in the glass area except at the c-pillar. Edited July 10, 2015 by Dave-S
blwnsmoke
They should have used square wheel wells like their trucks.
akirby
That is pretty close on the beltline. It's the squished roof that makes it look worse.
sullynd
They should have used square wheel wells like their trucks. That will be the GMC version.
rmc523
Looks like the Camaro's A-pillar is much thicker too.
silvrsvt
What the hell is up with those funky arches in between the wheels on the doors? That looks strange! As for the Camaro overlayed with the Mustang photo, not the best example since using different camera lenses will throw off the dimensions of the car. The Mustang appears to be taken by a zoom lens (seems more set back in the photo) vs the Camaro, which was taken (to me at least) with non-zoom lens. The Mustang still looks like it has a larger greenhouse (at least the glass part) then the Camaro.
PREMiERdrum
What the hell is up with those funky arches in between the wheels on the doors? That looks strange! Overly complex sidesurfacing seems to be the one constant of the Ed Welburn era of GM design.
pictor
it might be the yellow color but I can't help thinking this looks like a Hot Wheels model, all it needs is the orange track.

aneekr
Is it made from high strength steel too? Yes, martensitic steel and other high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel alloys are used extensively in the 2016 Camaro BIW. Bake-hardenable varieties are employed for some outer stampings. probowler
I've been a LONG time hater of the current Camaro, but I will admit.... much like the thirdgen, chevy has turned it into something not completely god-awful hideous. I might actually kinda like it.... I'm not sure, but it will be a long time before I trust a chevy enough to buy one
