A new version of the Twin Traction Beam would be interestingly different....but, they were a service nightmare back in the day and would need extensive servicing every 30K.... -

Jeez....It's getting down to "just pour some plain machine oil in" and call it a day... -

That is a pretty bold claim-just look at the Bronco and Maverick launches a few years back. if the demand is there, dealerships will charge an ADM on a product to make more. They are entities that exist to make a profit, not be nice The new ZR1X costs $207K and I've seen reports of $125-135K ADMs on them. If you go with the quail silver package that is apparently limited, add another 20K to that. Why didn't they sell it the same way Ford did with the GTD? -
Just bought daughter a 2026 Rav4 hybrid and it takes 0W-8 engine oil. I have never heard of anything less than 0w-20. I know it's for fuel economy but this seems one step away from water. Anything else use super thin oil?

Ultimately, that only benefits Ford. Not every dealer is a parasite. Some have integrity and appreciate their customers by charging MSRP or less on specialty vehicles. Assuming you are correct, now everyone gets the “ADM”.

Well, a crew cab with an 8' bed is pretty much usless off road, but if that's what the mall cruiser crowd wants than Ford should offer it. The XL off road package sounds interesting. Ford should design a good 4X4 IFS for the Super Duty.

I don't think he ever said there was no market. I think he said or meant that Ford couldn't make money with their current products.

Mach-e but even better looking. The mach-e is already a really good looking crossover. A next gen that was a little leaner, lower, wider would make for a striking vehicle. -

Some interesting information on the 2027 Super Duty came out today. Looks like expanded availability for Tremor models. https://www.fromtheroad.ford.com/us/en/articles/2026/whats-new-2027-ford-super-duty -
Your opinion may be unpopular but it is true. Ford basically replaced Edge with Mach E and Bronco. Except both were on the fringe of that segment and missed the mark which Farley has repeatedly try to gaslight everyone by saying it doesn't exist. Farley is the only CEO that kept saying there is no market for 2-row mid/large CUV. The reality clearly disagree with him. With a few exception, this list of vehicles are all selling just fine. Chevy Blazer Honda Pilot Hyundai Santa Fe Jeep Grand Cherokee Kia Sorento Mazda CX-70 Nissan Murano Subaru Outback Tesla Y Toyota Highlander Toyota Crown Signia VW Atlas Sport I explained before that I think Ford decided to cancel Edge because it didn't want to retool Oakville for CD6 or C2 production. But Oakville has basically been unproductive for 3+ years... it just seems crazy to idle a plant like that and walk away from one of your solid sellers because your CEO won't acknowledge reality.
