There reportedly was work on a Bronco hybrid prior to launch, so I think it was an intention all along.   I make that point to mean that I'd assume that makes it more feasible that it could come before the next-gen debuts since we're still what, 3-4 years from it arriving?   That said, it's Ford, so who knows.....

Its a drip feed to keep who is ever interested in it, interested.  I'm guessing more facts will be out sooner then later. I don't see them waiting till say Thanksgiving to show it off, I'm guessing that will happen before November 1st. 

They did recently tell Congress they’d move Nautilus and Corsair production out of China. It’s supposed to be going into America, but unless they’re making TTP C2 capable I assume they’re just bullshitting to Bernie Moreno. It would make a lot of sense to turn Cuautitlán to C2 and put the Nautilus, Corsair, and Bronco Sport there and then have Herm make all the Maverick-derived products. 

Kinda my point. Why send out preorder emails when there's not a single real pic or spec, yet? Yippee, it's got common seating and stereo toys, plus can do power in/out tricks. Still waiting on a selling point, maybe anything that differentiates it from the Kia EVs that are thick in the Northwest.

Yes, I think it’s a given that TTP will have hybrid versions of the F-100.   I’m wondering if we will see hybrid versions of the current Bronco and Ranger. The current Ranger probably has only the 2027 and 2028 (maybe also 2029) model years left before it’s replaced by the TTP truck. Given that, is it worthwhile to deliver a hybrid for the current Ranger?   The Bronco hybrid is an even more interesting question. Is its arrival imminent (2027?) or will it be delayed until the new mashup of products (Bronco, Bronco PU and Lincoln version of Bronco) roll out of MAP? Curious minds want to know. 🤔

I wonder if there is any real cost savings to doing this vs route of mining/processing it.   I guess my thought process is that yes it would be cheaper to recycle an existing car for materials, but the amount of materials needed to make another car might not make it viable to do so.

Not a bad guess, but Farley has said it's it's own despoke platform not based on anything else in Ford's lineup. We know Ford loves their JVs, so it's my personal theory that Ford is partnered with Hameedi Venturi on it.    A startup founded by one of the guys who worked on Ford's most iconinc performance cars for decades. A guy who still had connections at Ford presumably shows up and starts talking about a car very similar to Ford's around the same time Ford starts kicking around this unique idea, says how their car will be using similar tech, while also saying they're partnered with a massive legacy automotive brand. I feel like that's not a coincidence.    If I'm right, the car is gonna be a lot cooler than we realize. Not just some lifted dakhar truck, but a hypercar design with adaptable suspension that can haul ass on a racetrack, or off-road. That would be badass to see from Ford.
