Ehh, we'll wait a week or two...plans should change by then. 

Toyota's like on their 7th generation of hybrid technology. They've invested enough in hybrid technology to make their entire lineup. Hybrids. I don't see Ford investing the capital required to make hybrid drive systems universal throughout their lineup.    That goes beyond how long you've been selling them and directly to where you are spending money to build and sell more hybrid vehicles. I don't see it. If you do, please let me know

Well you could always move away from that shithole you know?   You also gloss over the fact that there are more players in the market that means more choices, so less market share.

Apparently but in the grand scheme of things the Escape/Bronco Sport and Maverick aren't all that different from one another either, outside of sheet metal and some touch surfaces.    This rumor was before all the changes happened, so who knows what is going on. 

This reminds me of the joke Clevelanders say to cope with our decline.    "At least we're not Detroit"

If you drive to work then solar charging is off the table and you can only charge middle of the night off peak.  No way that's 90% savings.

Yes, that I can agree with.  But saying people can charge with solar in the afternoon then contribute to the grid from 6-9 doesn't make sense if those cars are at work and can't charge when the sun is at its peak.
