Not true. For 2025 (last year), Ranger was 3rd. Gladiator was 5th.
Colorado outsold ranger by 37k units, and Toyota has another 167-ishk lead over that....

60 percent of Maverick buyers came from other brands - predominately, Honda and Toyota. At that point, the Maverick’s biggest conquests were the Honda Civic, Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 - none of which it competes with directly, at least in terms of vehicle segment.
Ford offers custom paint jobs on the Mustang GTD and I think the ability to lock out other people from using it. Forget how much they where asking for this option
I know that's always been the mantra but I think the market has changed so much that it's no longer true. So many more choices and buyers just aren't brand loyal like before. Honda owners are jumping to Mavericks. And you don't need conquest rebates to do it.
More importantly they're trading less profitable customers for more profitable ones. Great products win regardless of brand.
