So no D, I, J, K, O, Q, U, X, Y that I can remember.
I didn't include any from temporary acquisitions which made up the Premier Group under Jack Nasser like Volvo and JLR models.
Did you see the 3 asterisks? If I hadn't, then you would have "corrected" me and said Pacer was an AMC and Citation was a Chevy.. But those and Ranger and Corsair were also EDSEL models! I had two friends who each had 2 Edsel station wagons sitting on their properties for decades before they finally got rid of them! While we're talking about names, why did GM/Chevy call it a Corvair? Was it an air-cooled Corvette? LOL The guy who brought down the Corvair -- Ralph Nader -- was from CT.
So what did I miss? This was all from memory. I wasn't going to search everything.
No but single folks and folks without kids who would have bought a non hybrid Escape would cross shop it or a Maverick. They know it's not a full replacement.
To avoid Ford's rampant decontenting of its line, I'm now shopping Lincoln products. I drove the Nautilus and, while it's not sports car, it was at least very quiet and comfortable. The 24-spkr Revel stereo sounded nice, too. Has anyone had much experience with the Chinese-made Nautilus? Thoughts?
So is Ford also abandoing the plug-in hybrid technology from the Escape while shepherding sheeple to the Bronco Sport?
Candidly, my wife drives a plug-in Escape and I don't see her cross-shopping the "soft-roader" BS--especially with the 3-banger.
