Show me a $29,000 Chrysler and I will show you a sh*tbox.

Yea, you nailed it jpd80 my friend - that’s the ultimate question that determines Ford’s future success (or lack thereof). Not all the Ford old dogs, especially among the big shots, are capable of learning new tricks, but many of the topics discussed here on this forum suggest that Ford’s corporate culture is finally changing for the better, driven by the newest and brightest folks at the skunkworks for example. Hopefully Ford lifers like Galhotra won’t screw things up

As a whole, yes, but a lot of the ones that affect the automotive industry remain in place because they used other laws to justify.

It’s still working its way through the courts last I knew. I haven’t been paying that much attention to it. -
So is your proposal that they'd move Maverick to TTP completely, giving it its own factory? Which would let Hermosillo produce that van (if that's still a thing....can't remember anymore). As pointed out, that was his point - you already have a globally amortized platform with both Ranger volume and Bronco volume.....to drop it for something else new? I don't see that selling in enough volume to be worth it. They've already cut back 2-door Bronco a lot. A 2 door truck, IMO, is DOA.

How about this? Ranger fundamentally unchanged, rides out the series with periodic re-imaginings, Bronco "pickup" derived from modified T6 which has a short boxlet bustle. -
Jaguar Type 01 Is the Official Name of the Car That Will Lead Jaguar's Reboot - Autoblog For the longest time, the new Jaguar car has been going by unofficial names. It’s been called either the GT or the Type 00, just like the concept shown previously. Now we finally know its real name: it’ll be called the Type 01. We don’t blame you if it sounds a bit predictable, anticlimactic, or both, but there is meaning to it. Jaguar explains that the use of the word Type refers to classic models, 0 stands for zero emissions, and 1 stands for the first model under the new philosophy.

Yeah, this would be the "fast" way of getting Chrysler some new products by just rebading the other products. These were their sales last year: Considering Chrysler is just a minivan, I'm sure dealers would appreciate any additional volume...
