The Ford quote above mentions a race track, though, so leads me to believe it's an on-road vehicle.
Guess it depends on the definition of race track lol.
That Dakhar style off-road supercar thing that keeps getting mentioned is also likely as there's a clear motorsports connection there. A cheaper mid-engine car would be awesome, but part of me has started to lose faith in the idea.
I thought the engine bay was designed for the 3.5 EB only/the V8 wouldn't fit?
I don't know if I see them rehashing the outgoing GT, considering Multimatic is now building the GTD.
I missed that.
Meh, I'll believe it when I see it.
They also call the Expedition/Navigator and F-150 "all new" when they share the outgoing door stampings/cab structure.
Nope the actual Ford press release said All-New.
To me this says it’s not a Mustang or a new GT. It doesn’t sound like a Dakar rally Mustang. Maybe they’re finally going head to head with Corvette with a hybrid mid engine car. - basically a cheaper GT. Not sure what else makes sense.
Crazy that the JL's sales were 240k when it debuted. I'd imagine we'll see a spike whenever the new model comes out.
Good to see Bronco has been doing better, I see them everywhere now. It'll be interesting to see if sales continue going up next year with such a big jump this year (plus elimination of a indirect internal competitor - Edge, will have evened out next year)
Either way, competition will make both better.
