  1. Personally ID prefer just the word FORD in the front grille...but to each their own.....

  2. Ford knows what it's truck buyers like, and obviously still prefer the folding T-Bar shifter over a rotary knob. I think it's a nice touch and a novel solution that breaks people'sperception of the shifter as a solid rod. An " I thought that wasn't possible" moment, does this take the air out of competition just using a rotary knob?

  4. Presumably the Classic grille might say FORD.

  5. Well, there are millions of Ford trucks on the road. So why piss them off by copying Ram or Chevy. Ford knows what their customers want and need and gives it go them. The 2021 F-150 is a homerun as the competition will scramble to catch up again.

  6. They’re really going to do their best to make this the longest 2 weeks ever, aren't they? ?

  7. My 2020 Escape SE sport with the premium package comes with the Active X seats. Mine are Sandstone and look and feel great. If they aren't real leather, they sure do look great. Have had the vehicle for about 3 months now and build date was this past February. I turned in a 2017 Crosstrek Limited with leather seats and I prefer the Active X seats over the Crosstrek. The leather on the Crosstrek started cracking after a year or so and I kept them clean. Whatever Ford did with the optional Active X seats, they did well. Ford says they will wear and look much better over time than traditional leather seats. I believe it.

  12. Yes sir jpd80. Ford's emphasis on catering to existing owners of their products is smart business. The loyalists are Ford's best customers.

  13. Those are the little things that Ford always gets right. They are good at blending a few traditional things in that customers appreciate or brings back just a little nostalgia for a simpler time when all transmissions used a lever for shifting. It just makes it feel a little more truck-like and people like that. Every other manufacturer is getting rid of column and floor shifters so this is just a little detail that sets Ford apart. I think that's a good thing.

  14. The USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) usually opens approximately two months prior to the Job #1 Date. Ford has not released any production information or timetable for the Bronco Sport. Ford Dealers will be doing the July "Wholesale" for September/October production allocation and this new wholesale will not include the Bronco Sport. As such, I don't expect any Bronco Sport information for at least another month or two.

  16. Thank you Black Label About that update info, Good to know! Glad I did mess around with upgrading to that sync 3.3 by myself. The dealership probably would of said I broke it. I am looking to test drive the 510hp Stelvio Quadrifoglio 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds top speed 176 mph That might get me in some trouble. Lol

  17. Black Label. That is priceless! Leave it to my truck. Shake my head! Thank you for taking time to see if sync works.

  18. The fan speed knob is the largest knob in the vehicle and easily found dead center of the console, how is this hard to manipulate without braking your eyes off the road? Sync is useless for me except for cha going to Bluetooth audio. I use that button to activate Siri more than to activate sync.

  19. Yes hes had issues with his truck, but This's not rele an issue, its a preference he didnt look into before he bought the truck. Not many vehicles today have hvac controls on the steering wheel because of voice recognition. Matter of fact, i just checked, none in the class do.

  21. Funny, you never hear folks complain about turbo diesels having more issues and ecoboosts are built for turbocharging just like turbo diesels. Actual turbo failures are pretty rare considering the number of ecoboosts on the road. And I seem to remember a fairly serious issue with the coyote 5.0L recently so NA engines are not immune to flaws either. I think with the exception of a few design flaws all modern engines are virtually bulletproof with good maintenance.

  22. Hi gang. Just a little personal experience FYI (based on my 2018 Lincoln MKZ) to those wondering if their adaptive headlights are operating correctly: The adaptive headlight movement when turning is not large. It is a subtle movement while driving/turning. It is not easy to see the movement when turning. I've found that it is the return to center that is more visible, in approximately the last half turn of the steering wheel while bringing the steering wheel to center after a turn. That is when it is easiest to see the headlights move...as they make their final movement to the straight ahead position. But again, it is a subtle movement. Sorry I have no information to help with the greyed out menu options. Hope that information my help and good luck.
