grbeck
Yeah, the unique look is what really drew me to it. I don't think you're going to see a whole lot of Sports on the road. Those wheels are a work of art...
NickF1011
Those wheels are a work of art... Let's just hope I quickly adjust to the new dimensions of the Edge before, heaven forbid, I give any of them curb rash!! :fear:
Deanh
Congratulations on the new Ford. It almost looks like a customized vehicle. I especially love the wheels. @cost plus 10 they run $1085.27 each....mucho take it easy Nick.........
V8-X
Good looking Edge! Like the blacked out Sport grille much more than the normal chrome look. Yeah, the unique look is what really drew me to it. I don't think you're going to see a whole lot of Sports on the road. Disagree, at least for my region. Based on vehicles sold around here, I bet I'll see many more Sports than other models/trims on the road. How do you like the gauge cluster? I've read plenty on the functionality of it, but to me, it's not that appealing. Otherwise, the rest of the interior looks great! fordmantpw
Absolutely stunning! As others have said, the wheels really set it off!
svtenthusiast
That's an awsome looking sport! When you get a chance can you take some pictures of the unique seats? I wish I had that type of engine cover for my Fusion Sport. They dropped the ball we didn't get an engine cover. We could of used the one on the Edge Sport if it didn't have "Edge" on it. NickF1011
How do you like the gauge cluster? I've read plenty on the functionality of it, but to me, it's not that appealing. Otherwise, the rest of the interior looks great! I love the ability to customize it and it's pretty easy to scroll through the different layouts using the pads on the steering wheel. The spedometer starting at 6 o'clock is taking a little getting used to, but it's not as big a deal to me as some people have said. You've already racked up 200+ miles!?!?! Yeah, the dealership I bought it from was a bit of a ways away and I've had to make 2 trips there now (I didn't have my checkbook with me the first night...had to go back with my down payment). Plus you know how it is with a new car -- you want to drive it to the mailbox. Nick gets +10 points for listening to Smashing Pumpkins. I was channelling the first Sync commercial I saw. "Play artist Smashing Pumpkins." That's an awsome looking sport! When you get a chance can you take some pictures of the unique seats? I will try to remember. Hopefully I'll get some better pics of everything this weekend.
NickF1011
Does it have..... ....one of those engine covers on the bottom that the oil change places always fail to reinstall properly; that is, if they bother to remove it at all? ....HD Radio (not XM or Sirius)? ....extenders on the sunvisors? {edit} Congrats, btw. (Should've said that first) There are no extenders on the sunvisors. However, with the rake of the A-pillar, with the visors down, they do a pretty good job of covering either the entire top of the windshield or side window when flipped sideways 90 degrees. Didn't really see anything under the vehicle that should hinder easy oil changes.
NickF1011
So, I have decided to name the car Dudley Do-Right, since it's dressed to the nines in red and is from Canada. :D

rmc523
Okay, fine then! :P Not the greatest quality pics. Just did them with my point and shoot while I had time this morning. Looks AWESOME, Nick! Makes me want one! I really love it, and hope you enjoy it a TON! Congrats! There are no extenders on the sunvisors. Try simply pulling the entire visor out when it is not in it's "stowed" position, mine just slide out on their support arms, rather than having a separate/visible extender. I would assume they did the same thing with the Edge. Like this: Edited November 11, 2010 by rmc523

I would assume they did the same thing with the Edge. Give me a second and I'll go take a video for you. Hmm. I get what you're saying. I'll have to check that. I was thinking they were more like the pull-out tabs like were on my old '93 Taurus visors.
Edstock
Congrats again. Um, it might be the camera angle, but it appears that the "AWD" badge and the "Sport" badge are not in alignment: the baseline of "Sport" appears to rise to the left, relative to the "AWD" badge. For what you paid, you deserve to have the badges on right.
