02MustangGT
New Edge Cougar for the win! That was my first brand new car. 99 V6 with the manual transmission. I loved the styling and the car was just a blast to drive. My wife and I sometimes mention how we shouldve kept it. Oh well, I ended up replacing with a new 2002 Mustang GT (still own). But I still liked the Cougar better (for the 3 years I owned it anyway).
atomcat68
I still wish I could have kept my EXP as it would probably be one of the most rare cars on the road today. I traded it for a jade green Escort GT.

K270
I’m pretty sure our 93 Explorer was Emerald Green. Great color and very popular. Yeah the early 1990s ushered in the return of green colored cars-I remember the Mustang after 1994 being offered in Purple too. Both colors have died off quite a bit in the past 15 years- I know my wife would kill for a metallic green Escape My moms 93 Escort was green to. I think the exact color was Cayman Green. She didn't want the color at first but somehow I convinced her to get the Cayman Green color. She received so many compliments on the color. At night, under a street light it almost looked blue.
Rich B.
Like it, we also had the green '14 Fiesta and don't forget this one. Tri-coat that looks pearl in direct sunlight GHIG. Most cars are so commonplace colors, no individuality. A big fan of the Ford blue colors also. Go by dealerships and shopping centers, cars and trucks all look the same. Why not still have it as any color as long as it's black? Edited April 14, 2018 by Rich B.
fuzzymoomoo
Lightning Blue is fantastic. Blue Metallic is gorgeous, thats going to be the color of our next car. Grabber Blue on the other hand.... Awful.

AlRozzi
Here it is! Nice EXP! I had an '88 EXP and - wait for it - a 1983 LN-7! The drivers seat eventually got trashed in the EXP so I switched the seats out with nearly perfect front seats from a 1990 Escort I parted out. Needless to say, the Escort seats weren't low profile like the seats in the coupes, so heads bumped the roof! I sold the car sometime later and I had to tell the kid about the debacle, but he was ok with it.
AlRozzi
I actually considered a 2000 Cougar back in 1999. I was just looking for something fun. I also looked at mustangs but ended up with a Lincoln LS. At the time they had a promotion - buy a Blackwood at MSRP and get a free cougar! Deals like that come along only once in a lifetime! akirby
Deals like that come along only once in a lifetime! It wasn’t that great of a deal. I think the cougar was around $19K MSRP. They were already offering $15K-$20k off the Blackwoods because they just couldn’t give them away. But it was a clever marketing idea. No idea if they had any takers. fuzzymoomoo
I absolutely love Lightning Blue. Im going back and forth between that, that orange-ish color seen on the auto show circuit and Hot Pepper Red for my Ranger. I swore I would never own another red car after my Focus but damn I love that hot pepper red.

I dont know if its brand-wide or the beginning of a phase out, but Lightning Blue is being replaced by Velocity Blue for 2019 on the Mustang, so I wonder if Lightning Blue will even be available on the Ranger? AlRozzi
This is a photo of the Flat Rock built Cougar I got rid of last week to make room for the new Focus. The window sticker shows build date 9/13/99. I think it would look great in Lightning Blue. Edited April 15, 2018 by AlRozzi

AlRozzi
One reason I liked the Cougar was its great handling. It began as my wife's car but it eventually grew on me.I have had over 35 cars. All F/L-M and one Dart as a winter car to save my Fords. Question; Here are photos of my '13 Focus (Race Red) with a pinstripe I put on it. Does the car look better or worse with it? Not sure if I should do the same on the '18 Outrageous Green Focus. fordmantpw
I'm not a big fan of pinstripes, but I think it looks great on your Focus. It's very tastefully done IMO.
