    • Here are views of the passenger screen cover and the storage bin behind the center screen.  I will never understand why companies highlight specific features like that and never include photos, and you have to dig through several videos to find it.   I also find it amusing that they don't even include any photos of the rear of the truck for the debut.       Overall, it's a good looking truck.  I find the vertical grille bars in the lower grille clash with the rest of the design, but otherwise it's a clean, handsome design (as the GMC version tend to be, vs. the more busy Chevy look)     Here's the taillight:

Led by the flagship Denali Ultimate and off‑road dominating AT4X, the next-generation GMC Sierra 1500 lineup packs a serious punch in the form of two new V8 engines. “With the next-generation Sierra 1500, we’re bringing together a new generation of Small Block V8 power, precise off-road capability, and our most immersive cabin experience to date,” said Michael MacPhee, global vice president, Buick & GMC. “Denali Ultimate and AT4X solidify Sierra as the most powerful, most advanced and most luxurious trucks we’ve ever built. The next-generation Sierra is the truck all others will be measured against.” All‑new sixth-generation 5.7L and 6.6L Small Block V8 engines Spearheaded by the introduction of sixth-generation Small Block V8 engines offered in 5.7L and 6.6L displacements, the 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 continues to provide customers with a powertrain for every need, lifestyle and preference. Engineered for premium performance, the new 5.7L and 6.6L V8 engines incorporate advances in combustion, cooling, and control systems that enhance refinement and performance while reinforcing Sierra’s on- and off-road durability. A new fuel injection system helps optimize power, torque, and overall performance across a wide range of driving scenarios – from daily driving to rock crawling and towing. The Sierra 1500 lineup will also feature an enhanced TurboMax that delivers best-in-class standard torque1, and class-exclusive Duramax diesel. The 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 will pair all available engines with a 10-speed automatic transmission. "The 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 is an uncompromising, no-excuses truck which was purpose-built to conquer any task with an unmatched level of refinement, precision and capability," said Mark ****ens, Executive Chief Engineer for Full-Size Trucks and SUVs. "Not only have we engineered these trucks to be incredibly fun to drive, but they'll provide customers with the versatility to haul with confidence, tow with command, head off-road with conviction and arrive to dinner in style. The Sierra represents one of the most advanced and rigorous engineering development and validation programs GM has ever executed, we’ve taken premium trucks to a whole new level.” Additional information about each engine offering, including detailed technical specifications, will be announced at a later date. Bold and precise new design, inside and out The 2027 Sierra 1500 introduces an all-new exterior with machine precision forms, and a more powerful stance on the road. Features include the evolution of the signature headlamps and taillamps with available welcome and farewell animations, GMC signature WOM lights, a more vertical grille, available quad exhaust outlets, and other trim specific details provide the truck a bold, confident presence. Inside, the new Sierra 1500 offers completely redesigned interiors across every trim level, with exclusive colorways, premium materials, and Sierra first innovations. Highlights include available real wood trim accents, forged wood on Denali Ultimate, available panoramic sunroof, and best-in-class standard crew cab front head and leg room1. The result is an elevated cabin that positions Sierra decisively upmarket without compromising durability or capability. The available all‑new MultiPro center console with expanded functionality and storage solutions is designed to support everyday use. The console opens to create an extended work surface and allows easy access to available USB charge ports2 without compromising the clean, premium appearance or comfort customers expect for long-distance travel. Denali Ultimate: Technology, comfort and performance at the top of the lineup The 2027 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate advances GMC’s flagship full‑size pickup with premium comfort features, standard V8 power, exclusive design details, and a cabin centered on technology and refinement. Under the hood, Denali Ultimate features a standard 6.6L V8, the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 engine in its class1. Inside, Denali Ultimate features more than 60 inches of combined digital displays – the most in its class3, including: A new, largest in class 16.3‑inch diagonal infotainment screen4 positioned for easy reach and visibility with class exclusive articulation and storage5. A largest in class 11.5‑inch diagonal front passenger screen with articulating cover1, that offers the passenger media and entertainment functions. A 12.2‑inch diagonal Driver Information Center featuring a modern and intuitive look, while delivering configurable vehicle information directly in the driver’s line of sight. A 15-inch diagonal multicolor Head Up Display (HUD) which projects key information, including speed, navigation, and available driver assistance alerts6, onto the windshield to help provide a more confident driving experience. An 8.5-inch diagonal Rear Camera Mirror6 can provide a wider, less obstructed view behind the vehicle than a traditional mirror, which can be helpful when the bed or rear seats are loaded for additional visibility. A class‑exclusive articulating center screen1 integrates hidden storage behind the display, helping keep the cabin organized while preserving quick access to frequently used items. An articulating cover allows for the transition between the full front passenger screen and a slimmer display. This screen execution takes GMC’s tech-forward ethos to a new level and resets expectations for what a truck can be and deliver. The Bose Premium Series audio system with 16-speakers includes class-exclusive front head restraint mounted speakers5, tuned specifically for the cabin to deliver a detailed, immersive sound experience. Complementing the interior, Denali Ultimate comes standard with a three-year subscription to Super Cruise driver assistance technology7 that includes trailering capability, enabling hands‑free driving on more than 600,000 miles of compatible roads across the U.S. and Canada, including when towing – a feature not offered by any competitor in its class8. Super Cruise supports additional features such as Automatic Lane Change and Turn Signal Initiated Lane Change and is designed to enhance long‑distance comfort and driver confidence. AT4X: Off‑road domination with signature GMC precision For adventure and unrelenting exploration, the 2027 Sierra 1500 AT4X builds on Sierra’s off‑road credentials with new hardware and function specifically chosen for the most demanding terrains, and represents the brand’s most off-road capable Sierra AT4X ever2. Key AT4X capability highlights include: A Sierra first 35” Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires, engineered for traction and durability in challenging off‑road conditions. New Multimatic Jounce Control Dampers, tuned to help manage high‑speed off‑road impacts and rough surfaces while maintaining precision, control and composure. Front and rear e-locking differentials (e‑lockers), a combination not offered on any competitor in its class2 – working with different drive modes to help optimize traction on a variety of surfaces. Visually, AT4X is distinguished by unique exterior cues including exclusive hood design, a more purposeful stance including a 2” suspension lift and new front fascia. Inside, an exclusive Timber Mahogany colorway is designed to balance durability and comfort, with an interior featuring front seats with enhanced bolstering, a sport flat bottom steering wheel, and a standard panoramic sunroof. Details feature perforation patterns, piping, quilting and embroidery, as well as stainless steel door speaker grilles, reinforcing AT4X as a truck that can handle serious off‑road use while still feeling refined on the drive home. For those customers who want to take off-road performance even further, GMC will continue to offer the AEV Edition package on the 2027 Sierra 1500. The full 2027 Sierra 1500 lineup is arriving later this year The 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup will also include Pro, Elevation, AT4, and Denali, each offering a distinct combination of signature design, advanced technology and premium capability, specifically engineered to deliver a tailored experience aligned with how customers work, explore, and drive. The first 2027 Sierra 1500 models are expected to arrive at GMC dealerships before the end of the 2026 calendar year. Additional information on the 2027 GMC Sierra 1500, including full design, feature and performance details across the lineup, will be released ahead of the vehicle’s on‑sale date.
    • The manual crank window is stupid... performance art for performance art sake. It doesn't save costs and I predict will be gone within 6 months of launch when actual customers want power windows.   I'm wondering if Amazon will place a big order for its grocery or in-home delivery service which doesn't use the big vans.
    • I just checked the one in the showroom here. The front fenders are bolted in place, and I'd agree, it's not something I'd want to screw around with much. That said, the fender flares are MUCH more modular, held in place with a bunch of quarter-turn lock levers. We'd swapped out flares on a couple guys' Broncos on my old team. One had a Badlands and wanted the smaller flares, the other had a Big Bend and wanted the bigger flares. They were discussing how much it would cost to order replacements when I walked by and said "why don't you guys just exchange flares?". They hadn't known how easy they came off. 😄 Showed my wife the Slate's base pricing as listed. She has... opinions... on the SUV version. The truck one, too, but her reaction was (mildly edited to be family friendly): "that fastback is f***in grody. It brought out the 80s in me. It's that yucky. And they have the balls to charge more for that s***?!?!?!" She was the original car person in our household, grew up in dealerships, learned to drive in an off-road racing VW Beetle.
    • Why are you assuming F-100 isn't the Ranger replacement?
    • F100 in US, Ranger for ROW.  Same truck, different name.   Take what they learn from CE1 and the enhanced electrical architecture they are working on, apply it to the Ranger, call it the F100 in the US (or whatever, name doesn't matter).  Then, once the bugs are worked out, apply it to the Ranger for non-US markets.  In the past, the US has been a follower with the Ranger (getting it after the ROW gets it).  Going forward, maybe it'll be the other way around.
    • Actually, that’s pretty much what I expect it to look like.
    • But JPD proposed an F-100, and ExplorerDude said yeah.........meaning it's not just start something at TTP and then roll it to other Ranger plants when they're doing another model completely (aka not Ranger..........this line of thinking also fits with the talk of Ranger going away for US).
    • I think it's clear that outside of Raptors Ranger doesn't have big margins.  I assume that whatever version TTP builds will have a much lower cost and will eventually be rolled out to other Ranger plants.  I also expect more commercial fleet sales and more cab/bed options.
    • One guess would be by calling it F-100, the sales count would go into the "F-Series" sales total....
