Agree, the 'competing against Bronco Sport' is more of an invention of the analysts quoted in the article; nowhere in the article is a claim from Honda that this revived product is aimed at Bronco Sport. I can't help but wonder if Element will have similar sales results as other Honda revivals - Prelude, looking at you. Insight, looking at you. -
85 and driving? Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen lol... does remind me... one time I went to my Lincoln dealership for regular service,,angry and this guy was agree because of "ALL THE WORK" needed on his vehicle. He made it sound like he owned an unreliable VW or Dodge product.. After his rant I asked my service advisor "What is he driving so I dont buy one"... hes like "Anthony he has a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis with 410K miles" 🙄

Mustang cars stay on the same platform. The sedan was originally supposed to be launched during the S650 run but by the time it would launch the design would be and look old so the S650 lifecycle was shortened. T6 pickups will be following that strategy which you nailed above. Bronco pickup stays with Bronco and Lincoln Bronco at MAP. TTP becomes a T6 plant with exactly what you guessed. -

If my memory serves me correctly, the Element was supposed to be a cheap/fun vehicle for younger people back 20 years ago like Scion was, but was bought by baby boomers because young adults had zero interest in it. I fail to see how this is competing against a Bronco Sport, when its basically a van vs an CUV. -

I still think Ford is bullshitting or holding their power dry on the TTP...A bronco pickup wouldn't do any better then the Ranger IMO. The Ranger is never advertised, at least I've never seen it and it absolutely makes zero sense to add another product to the NA lineup that is already being covered by another product in the form of the Ranger, when you have huge holes in other parts of the lineup that could be filled by something else (midsized crossover etc) that is new product. Adding a Lincoln Bronco would just help keep MAP busy when interest is down in either the Ranger or Bronco, even that. I have a hard time thinking they'll be able to sell 20-30K of them a year. Ford just needs to start getting product out the door, we are at the 5 year mark without new product release, till the CE1 Pickup comes out since the Maverick came out. This is just incredibly frustrating to see them basically fail about with out laying out a plan and at least trying to execute it. -
We’re kind of getting there. We have the Bronco Sport and it sounds like the Bronco Pickup is coming. Then you have several flavors in China if you want to count them and some also coming for Europe.

I just heard this today. An 85 yr. old woman brought her 1986 car (I won't mention make) for a simple brake job to new car dealership that sells her make. The car only had 160K miles on it. Drove it away, engine light came on. Did a mechanic rig it? Maybe. Anyway she brought car back. She was told it needed $16,000 of repairs!!!!! So she got rid of it and bought another car. I'm not sure if it was a new or used one. But you're kidding me, right?t

Forgot: Insurance companies are the fourth reason.
