Hi I have recently become an owner of a 2009 2.0 Kuga Titanium. I have been looking through some of the posts on this forum with interest. The car has had a couple of issues since I have owned it but thankfully the garage I bought it from have been very good at getting them sorted so far. Looking forward to many miles with this car.

Silverado EV was supposed to be better than Lightning two years ago,
I’m surprised that it’s taken this long to get near Lightning sales….
Maybe having a starting price north of $70k doesn’t help……
How's that any different from when Ford makes a cool car, and people respond with "It's still a Ford"? Cool cars are cool cars regardless of who makes them.
Yea, they've been really good at it. Ford's head honcho has been so mesmerized by them Chinese EVs that he seems to have forgotten that GM is now beating Ford with EV in the U.S.
Chevy Silverado EV and the GMC version have been gettin' a lot of attention and is now a big competitor to F-150 Lightning

Apparently, this is the final production design inspired by a concept from about a year ago. That is badass. This is how you do retro inspired EVs Ford, take note.
Yea, the new standalone Genesis car dealerships are snazzy. They've been poppin' up all over Central Indiana. I got a free DC fast charge for my F-150 Lightning when I visited this one 😀
Nah, other than Nautilus which is the same now in China and the U.S. That model has a huge panoramic digital dashboard unlike anything else from Ford and won some best of the year award recently.
Other than that, it's the same 'ol same 'ol for Lincoln: very nice interiors but same model lineup, no EV, no sedans/coupes/roadsters, no sporty vehicles of any kind, no commitment from the big shots at Ford to build up and expand the Lincoln brand
Lots of confusion in numbers, I have a F350 king SRW with the 7.3 gas, and just picked up 4,000 lbs of coal. She ran great 13.0 MPG for the 100 mile trip home. Love my King!
Not meaning to restate what Biker said earlier in the thread (agree with most of it).
With regards BEV roll out and sales, it’s wise to not conflate US market conditions with those of Europe.
American buyers have lots of choices on the ICE side coupled with relatively low fuel prices vs Europe.
Also, Europe and UK are forging ahead with tougher vehicle requirements that are forcing manufacturers
to make more BEVs available than perhaps are practical/economical so perhaps companies like VAG
and Stellantis , maybe Ford too has to wear the costs of building sufficient BEV customers to comply?
Lower battery prices ar coming and that will be a huge help to manufacturers selling affordable BEVs
so I remain open on BEV uptake depending on how quickly battery technology can pivot to lower costs.
Do that and the equation shifts for loads of potential buyers.
