My dad was also afraid of heights due to a horrible incident in his youth. Decades later while on a family trip traveling north along east coast, we suddenly came up on a bridge in Savannah that made him panic almost to point of not being able to drive at all. Turned white as a ghost. By the time we realized all traffic was headed up the bridge, there was no way to abort. I felt horrible for him because it looked scarier than it was due to the way the road turned up high, making it seem like you could easily drive off the edge. Anyway, your comment motivated me to find a picture of bridge which I never forgot, and it was harder than I expected because apparently the bridge was replaced.
On the bright side, towards end of his life my dad lost fear of heights; as example would walk close to edge of Grand Canyon without hesitation.
Whatever beef he has with Mexico is one thing but he’s now hurting GM and Ford when there’s a good deal in place that he negotiated in his first term….
Mister “who negotiated this deal? (USMCA)
not one person in the room was game to say “it was you mister president….”
and does he even read what he signs…..
Not a lot of clue but it will be a real kick in the pants if China got the PHEV or EREV Bronco and we don't... Bronco really needs a boost in MPG (or get much wider/longer) or it will start to cost Ford a lot in CAFE penalty. I am not optimistic that the 2 door will stick around beyond 2026 or 2027 unless the entire model range switches to hybrid or PHEV.
Wow, I would have to say impressive..all the little details that make sense. Like the ability to replenish the Indian pumps.. not one faucet but four! Only thing IMO missing? Adequate "brush bars" to protect the vehicle pushing through the woods.
Only other "wildfire" truck more far out than this one is a C series that was in Texas-not sure where it was built, but it was powered by a V-903 Cummins.
Not quite sure how they managed to fit that under the cab of a C model but they did.
No argument about Mexico but to me another example of a half baked solution that does not go into the details before pulling the trigger. This "agreement" should have been a good example that can be followed by others.
This has Peter Retardo written all over it to use Musk's description of the ultimate butt kisser in Trump's circle🤔
