Telo is still taking people's money for deposits.

Two years ago they projected that they would be making deliveries right about now.
All I've ever seen is computer renderings.

Not sure that is the company you want to latch on to, but at least they are testing a real car now.

I looked up some of the Ford concepts mentioned, one was Cadillac's Art and Science influenced, the other sort of Chrysler 300ish. Not in a bad way, but Ford certainly has enough history of it's own to draw upon.
Creating the future is tough, it hasn't happened yet.😁
Found an interesting website (see link below), use the "Swap" button to pan between the Rapide and the Mustang. If anyone figures out if the "transparency" can be varied - please share the information.

There is technical information on the bottom once you scroll down. There is a 10.6 inch wheelbase difference.
I loved my OG 2003 Escape. I had the XLT Sport, which had the tubular roof rack. I always felt going Kuga was a mistake. A mini Explorer would be a good approach. The Equator is not bad looking, but has a generic last gen SantaFe vibe. I’m not convinced splitting Escape/BS makes sense. The BS is so close to perfect.
Saw a lifted BS with fender flares, and an external spare over the weekend and it looked pretty good!
Good idea and Ford China now has second generation Territory called Equator Sport
Length 182.3”
Width 76.2”
Wheelbase 107.3”
I think it’s an example of the direction that you are suggesting but probably
needs a bit of rework on body styling to align with North American tastes.
Did some double checking with a LEO friend. Last year the properly equipped
Explorer was less costly than Tahoe. This year under new state contract, Tahoe is a 6 grand premium.
The current sante fe is one of the worst looking crossovers on sale. The front isn't terrible, but the rear is genuinely hideous and is already aging terribly.
