Yeah, you're right, I'm still paying for something, but my point was more that in order to put together the variety that I listen to, I'd have to create a bunch of channels/add a bunch of songs to one of the "create your own" thing.  I'd rather listen to what they play on the radio that will add new songs over time without me having to seek it out.   I listen to a wide variety of stuff though.....80s,90s,2000s, 10s EDM, smooth jazz etc. etc.

There’s a lot to like about the plans but the cost savings touches on everything including design efficiency and styling. That acceptance of change will be the real Model T moment.   Theres also a very good reason why Ford isn’t showing details on everything, if it gets into trouble with some of the new systems, Ford may sub in other modules that will get it over the line for launch and that makes sense.    The biggest concern remains aesthetics, what will the pickup actually look like and I would say to you that the reason we weren’t shown anything like that is because that reveal wasn’t pitched at customers but more at Wall Street and investors.   Generally, the response from those groups has been lukewarm warm, many questions were left unanswered like what happens to all the money already spent on other plans? Honestly, Ford is going to have to eat some of BOC costs and restructure as required    The plan is the plan until it doesn’t work anymore, this is the “new baby” that Ford is talking about but not ready to show us the actual pickup - that’s a big tell right there.

That’s not the part I disagree with.   You said that Ford was lucky to get credit when it did did, maybe that’s true  but Ford also took action when needed  because it thought credit may not be available in the future   Sometimes in business you make your own luck.  

Oh those are gonna be optional for sure. Remove that and I think you're looking at how the truck will look for most people. If that's the case, I'm conflicting. It's not hideous, it's just a little uninspired. Maybe it'll grow on me more once I see the actual design with more details and design touches.    I'm kinda holding out hope that's not the actual design, not only is it kinda meh in terms of proportions, but that frunk would be pretty much useless if these short hood proportions, especially seeing as you'll have HVAC and other equipment under there taking up space.    I'm hoping it's either a smaller, more traditional looking design, like a scout or Rivian on a smaller scale, or it's some muscular looking sporty truck. If it's just a cab forward blob, that's gonna be kinda disappointing. 

But your paying for Sirius? I've been using them for years and tended to stick with the same two-three stations but to be honest its starting to feel played out or they are adding things to the stations that aren't really my thing, like Lithium playing Tom Morello and listening to his pollical views while he plays music that isn't even 1990 early 2000s alternative rock.    Going back to Apple Music-you can add albums/songs that you hear on Apple Music to your library.  

This is correct. Though the first 3-12 months are free depending on model.    We have this system in our 25 Expedition and it’s actually pretty nice. I would say it’s a big step forward from Sync4 in my Lightning. It is much more responsive to touch and the built in map and audio options are compatible to CarPlay or android auto… the texting feature is nothing to write home about however, so I stay within CarPlay most of the time.
