Remember all the doom and gloom when Ford switched F Series bodies to aluminum  while GM and Stellantis went the higher tensile steel route…….   CE1’s  construction process will most likely end up saving Ford a lot of money plus at worst, cause zero increases in vehicle repair costs…

The latest version of Equator Sport ( and I assume Equator) were heavily reworked by Ford and while they’re not C2 are definitely blessed by Ford Engineering. Feeling is this is affordable China modules integrated int design results in much lower costs. Smart use of Chinese based vehicles.

Mondeo probably won't last beyond the current gen. Ford could easily replace it with 4 door Mustang or UEV sedan.   Nautilus can be paired with Equator just as easy as it is being paired with Edge for development purpose. 

I have been completely satisfied with my Maverick. No need for a "buyback"...my dealer has been great. 

I have a 22 F350 with the 6.7, with a 3.55 rear end. 8 foot bed. Pulling my 5th wheel, 15,000 lbs, I get around 11MPG If I'm doing hwy, driving the speed limit, I get 23ish. As a grocery getter, it drops to 14/15. All said, It's been a great truck.  

Seems like unnecessary additional marketing and branding to me.

Probably my age, but from my perspective, a CD6 size car would better be marketed under a name that many buyers still would recognize as being a "Ford sharp;" half step above Ford, rather than further diluting the Mustang brand. Any sedan  would share little in pars or manufacture with an SUV. Mercs could still be sold at existing Ford dealers.    29 year old concept and still looks good IMO. The car, not the babe. OK, both!

IIHS announced today that Cybertruck is the highest rated pickup truck for safety, according to the big shots there. Seems to me that "Top Safety Pick" and "Cybertruck" is a contradiction in terms, but what do I know...  

Yes, how did we manage for over a hundred years without backup cameras?  Don’t get me wrong, I use my backup cameras a lot and like them. But we did manage to drive without them and we didn’t experience calamity and mayhem.   Many of the recalls OEMs deal with are related to government mandated equipment. Think about how many recalls there have been for Takata airbags (67 million, biggest recall in history) and more recently these backup cameras. ABS/ESC also the source of many recalls.
