I can't find the photo now - I saw a photo of them open.....I'll keep digging.

I don't mind it, but as you say at the end, there's something off about it - it seems like a mash up of design cues from existing off road vehicles. The front end is like a Bronco, the flares remind me of the Hummer H3. The Greenhouse in the rear reminds me of the FJ. The lower part of the rear reminds me of Defender.

I like it. I think a bronco with a fixed roof and alpine windows like this would look pretty cool. I also like the widebody look with the fenders. The full windshield heads up display is an interesting idea. I’m still trying to figure out how the rear doors open though 😆

Yeah, it really does make a difference. I also like the license plate up on the hatch rather than the bumper in the Toyota. Yeah, Ford/GM would've gotten skewered by news outlets for coming out with something this badge engineered these days (back to the old days!!), yet Toyota/Subaru get a pass, being described as "sharing a platform"......please.....

https://pressroom.gm.com/gmbx/us/en/pressroom/home/news.detail.html/Pages/news/us/en/2026/apr/0401-gmsales.html I don't think I've ever seen a model equal last year's sales exactly - Acadia hit 13,257 exactly in both 2026 and 2025.

The mustang and bronco anniversary editions have stripes on the rocker panels and have a more retro vibe. I like how this is didn’t go that route.

So a Bronco Raptor knockoff. That isn’t being creative at all.

I think it would look a little better had the black stopped at the lights/lift gate “handle” body line. Then it just looks like a continuation of the window. -

I'm mixed on it. I like how they hade the body side some flair so it's not just a flat box shape. Some of the futuristic styling features look nice. But it's not super cohesive. -

Thx, never knew the original agreement had such a term limit. Ford should benefit from this but I would bet they will be indifferent to this opportunity. In voting my Ford shares yesterday I ended up on a Ford site that listed products. I clicked on trucks and guess what, no class 5, 6, or 7 trucks listed! Handwriting on the wall?? On another note, I took the time to read the bio for each director. Aside from the four family members and Farley, the rest of the proposed directors appeared to me to be HR, financial, or PR types with no what I would call "heavy manufacturing" experience, with one exception, that being Mr. May, Deeres CEO. Hopefully Bill Ford's commercial truck experience in his bio will bring some perspective, to say nothing of fact he is Chairman.
