I had no idea these sticker for $80k and up. Seems too high for this class of vehicle. Like trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. -

I tend to agree with this perspective rather than what has been posted in this thread: ”Farley seems to be resting his hand on the back of the bed, and his hand seems to be resting over a bedside rail. It would be perfectly rational for the pickup to feature sliding rails with locking brackets” (Field’s hands are extending towards the tailgate, not the bedside) https://fordauthority.com/2026/04/is-this-our-first-glimpse-of-the-midsize-ford-ev-pickups-bed/ -

Rome NY - Martin St. VP Racing gas station (formerly Sunoco) Stopped in today - (4/24/26) - regular unleaded (E10 blended) was $3.95 cash, or $4.05 for CC use. -

As I recall, doing away with the legendary Twin I-Beam front axle was a non event. As long as the payload and GCWR ratings are comparable to the current truck, I think that's all that matters. -

Wonder if GM is going to have issue with using Aurora as it was an Oldsmobile name....I doubt it though since that was pre-bailout. I know Ford used the name also in the 60's for a series of luxury station wagon concept cars.... -

They lined up to buy the aluminum trucks in droves. That was pretty revolutionary in 2014. I don't see why they wouldn't buy it, as long as it looks like a truck, walks (drives) like a truck, and talks (works) like a truck. Most truck buyers likely don't even know what body on frame or ladder frame means. They just know how many HP they have and how much their truck can tow and haul. The rest doesn't matter to 90% of buyers. -
Jim Farley is currently 63, I can see him taking retirement in about two years time. If all of this turns bad, someone else can clean it up….

Shelby American has its own top dog version with Super Snake-R, but it's sold out for 2026 model year.

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1BBU2SoWbM/ Glad to see blue return to the interior colors. I think the Navigator dropped Yacht Club and the latest BL themes were somewhat lacking color. This Aurora looks really good and glad it has some copper and mahogany colored to contrast it. I loved Rhapsody Blue on the Continental but thought it would look so much better with some warm wood to contrast the blue instead of the silver trim.

Perhaps, that's just how it looks to my eye, but it's nice to see there's at least some attempt to do surfacing and styling instead of being something designed strictly in a wind tunnel.
