U.S. House Introduces Bill To Charge Electrified Vehicles Annual Fee According to Reuters, the latest such effort comes to us in the form of bi-partisan legislation introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives, which would require EV owners to pay $130 annually for road repairs, and $35 for owners plug-in hybrids. That law also calls for a $5 annual increase to that fee each year starting in 2029, capping out at $150 for EVs and $50 for PHEVs. However, this isn't the first time lawmakers have attempted to pass this type of rule.

The only thing I wish out of Ford here is that the vehicles are more Chinese. If the partnership with Geely lets Ford learn from them on development and EV technology, I want to see that happen.

Latest survey by Plante Moran. Ford made a big leap, but still trails the front runners by a large margin. https://www.plantemoran.com/get-to-know/news/2026/05/2026-working-relations-index

I'll say this, I wish they were a little more differentiated and weren't all using the same basic lighting elements, but I think this looks pretty sick. The rally racing connection, but just the fact that it looks more daring and bold than a lot of the Ford designs we're used to. We'll have to see the finished designs, but I like where this is going. -
Honestly the bigger takeaway is that Ford probably won’t abandon M-Sport in WRC

I had to look this up in the order guide. Apparently it was possible to build a Lariat Super Duty with the 6.8L gas. Don't think I've seen anyone do that, but that was the standard engine up to Lariat. Frankly, I couldn't remember if the 6.8 was standard/available on XLT, which was what prompted the looking up.

Technically the Bronco Sport is unrelated (outside of the name) to the T6 Bronco, so it could be just stupid wording by whoever wrote the article. Going by that photo, it looks like it uses the Chinese Bronco style headlight lights, but the green house kinda looks like the BS Quick photoshop I did. Maybe this will be a Grand Bronco Sport-basically something roughly the size of the Escape/Kuga at 180-185in long. -
Chinese Bronco is far too big for Europe. Whatever Ford has in mind, it's probably a C2 vehicle because that's what Valencia is setup to build. So most likely related to next gen Bronco Sport which should be a global product. I don't know why Ford would bother making 2 different ones for US and Europe. And I'm not yet fully convinced Farley will actually build this car in Europe... He tried to revive India to build this vehicle but gave up on it. Need to see what Ford's plan is for that new plant in Thailand they acquired from Suzuki.

The transmissions are built in the US, the 6.7L PS is built in Mexico and the 7.3L Godzilla V8 is built in Canada... -

I wonder if they'll be importing parts from the US to keep that to a minium
