We can all hope, but I remember back in 2018-19 when the Ranger was coming back to NA after a 8-year hiatus, and people were talking like it was going to be the end for Tacoma. When just the opposite happened, Taco sales just kept increasing. HRG -
Which ones are you talking about? I'm not remembering....

I doubt the average customer will know or care about that lol.

Ha! I didn't even notice that......usually they're at the bottom.

I guess we don't know how to make planes either! FAA extends deadline for Pratt Powered 777's https://share.google/uFRYiTt5z4Zz2xfYq United returns 787's to Boeing for quality issues: https://share.google/UpLiX2dzf4UweY1e4

I doubt the 2.3 costs much, if any, more than the 2.0 to build. The 2.0 probably will add a mile or two more EPA mileage rating.

I'd doubt we'd see a 1.5L in a RWD application, so the 2.0L would be the bare minimum for something like this. -
Whatever Ford ends up doing at LAP & TTP, I just hope they hit it out of the park and blitz Tacoma off the showroom

Hmm, if these trucks are BOF and Ranger+ sized why would it have a base engine less capable than today's North American Ranger (the 2.3 Ecoboost)? Or are you suggesting the 1.5/2.0 would be a fleet base engine?
