Girlfriend picked Escape over BS due to horrid front view (hood was way more intrusive) and that no matter the trim level, you could not get a powered rear hatch lift gate on BS.
Keep in mind Hino went nearly 2 years without selling any new trucks in the U.S. due to their emissions scandal. They are back to selling new trucks with compliant Cummins diesels. However, it's anyone's guess how much longer Hino will remain in North America, as they are in the process of being spun off by Toyota and aquired by Daimler Truck.
Here are a couple of photos of a nearly identical car with Mustang Cobra R wheels and lowered suspension.
This is very close to what I'm planning for mine.
The wheels are a little different from the '99 Cobra wheels I have but they are a similar five spoke design.
OK, seller just told me he is taking the ad down so I guess it's safe to share a few pics.
Most of these are from the original ad although I did ask for the underneath and wheel/tire shots.
Once I get the car home I'll get better pics. Either his camera doesn't have a zoom out feature or the car was parked in a really narrow alley or both. LOL
BTW, the missing driving light has been replaced.
The new campus looks very much like an evolution of the Glass House....I like it, but I am also a little nostalgic about the current world HQ.....time marches on, but it is gonna be remembered fondly.
Yes, that just happened last week. Mexico Govt is a bit alarmed shall we say that even the Big 3 are selling more Chinese cars than locally assembled cars in Mexico. The long term hollowing out of car assembly industry is not in strategic interest of Mexico (or the US). They are trying to make sure the manufacturing base continues to be tethered to the US market.
