Ford would start by offering 19 views at launch but only have 4 left by the end of the model run. 

Ironically I am finally going through years of Ford brochures I collected since 1980 and found this pamphlet on the Edison plant! I think a few of my fellow Mustang Club members got a tour in the 1990’s.

Yeah, we are looking at different things. Below is a pic of the Aeros. I think we are going to see something similar to this on the fathom. The A pillar extends past the side view mirror and ends around the edge of the wheel well and the windshield extends several inches further. I agree with rmc that this is not the fathom in the drawings, it looks like a larger truck.

Probably. I was thinking the same thing. Also possible that the patent is a very generic version of Fathom. Not accurate to proportions.

I think we're looking at different things. I think We're looking at the A-Pillar, not the start of the windshield, which is curved so even more difficult to see where it actually lands in relation to the front wheel, as opposed to the A-pillar which is right next to the wheel. Either way, even the windshield isn't as far forward as in the patent, according to your vertical line.    I do think a more cab-forward look would be cooler and sleeker but just dont think we're getting one AS DRAMATIC as the patent. To your point, maybe it will retain some of that look with the windshield curved forward. Really excited to see this thing uncovered.

CX810 is the replacement for Chinese CD6 Explorer but the two will probably live side by side for a while before Ford decides whether to pull the plug on the (badly aging) CD6 Explorer in China.   The Lincoln version is obviously the replacement for CD6 Aviator.    CX810 is Chang'an Ford product, not Jiangling Ford which has Bronco Basecamp. Sorry, but your vertical line is no where near the bottom of the windshield. Here is a better picture. Even in this pic, I think the windshield could still be covered by camo a bit which would push that line even further forward.

I could see 8 cameras making sense:   Front Left side Right side Tailgate backup Rear cab (bed) Rear cab (mirror) Under body (front) Under body (rear)     Not sure where the other three would be?
