Your making my point for me by saying that but if the company making that said product isn't making money on it to invest into it, what is the point for them continue doing it? the CVPI was successful because it barely changed but did they actually make money off it that made it worthwhile to keep the investment into it? Nope Ford can sell $55K plus Explorers in addition to how ever much the PI goes for these days. -

6 new vehicles as in replacements of current products or additions to the lineup? What I can piece together: CE1 Pickup CE1 CUV 4 door Mustang F-100 Bronco pickup? Midsized CUV? -
If the Crown Vic was kept up to date, it would still be the choice for Police! Ford decided it was not worth the investment.

They could've "wow'ed" me with more $$ but they didn't.....anyone want a leftover Mustang? -
Good afternoon, everyone! I’m hoping someone can help me with an issue I’ve run into. When I start my 2020 Lincoln Aviator GT, the message "Charging System Service Soon" appears on the screen. FORScan shows error code B11D9:09-0A. Both the main and auxiliary batteries are brand new (2025 models). I tried replacing the BCM module (L1MT-10C652-BA), but that didn't help. I checked the 125A fuse, and it’s working fine. I also tested continuity on all the fuses in the engine bay, and they are all functional. Has anyone encountered this before? Could someone suggest what steps to take next? Visiting a dealer isn't an option, as both the car and I are currently in Russia.

lol, just relax. You’ll find out some cool snippets in the next few months. Maverick has nothing to do with anything. -
You act like cheap and easy to maintain is a bad thing. For a small town police department, that's often all that matters.

No it was just cheap and easy to maintain... if your running a police dept in a county or town-what are you going to do? buy something that requires a compete refit of equipment every few years with different equipment, or buy a new CVPI and move your shit to new car and save a ton of money? -

Yes it is, but hear me out on this one-is someone buying an Escape because they can't afford the Explorer or is it the size of it? Given how US market is, I think people who are looking at this type of vehicle would buy the larger one if they can swing it. That is is the issue-smaller products sell mostly because they are cheaper, not because they have a large/natural demand for them (at least in the NA market) If I had a family and was driving an Escape and couldn't get it anymore, and Ford made it possible to get into an Explorer for say $5-8K more ($150 more a month roughly) I think a large portion of people would do it.
