Ford Sucks

Recommended Posts

No wonder ford is going out of business..Their dealers are crap...with shitty retarded salesman..who don't know shit about cars. Their survice is lousy , and the managers are idiots. The only car they have that is kinda selling good is the Mustang..all the other cars suck..made with cheap plastic interiors..and the engines just dont compete with Toyota, Honda, ETC. Im considering canceling my order with Ford, cause THEY SUCK!!!!!

:banghead:

No doubt! I wish my cars engine came with a sludge problem!

I don't know of a "high priced" plastic interior.... Toyotas plastic is of superior "plastics"? :hysterical:

I also wish Ford would recall more vehicles in one year then it makes like Toyota does....

So did you figure this out before or after placing the order? With all your revelations you are only "considering" canceling the order with Ford? So who's the idiot again? I agree the dealers/service departments are crap but for the most part your post comes across as trolling.

Well, I dropped my Cobra off at Koons Ford in Annapolis over the weekend to get the parking brake fixed (my own doing, no fault of Ford's). First time I've had it to this dealer. I purchased it from Bob Bell Ford and have had nothing but good experiences from their service, but they are just a little too far to be convenient anymore. I'll report back on the quality of service when I get the car back. Let's see if their dealers really DO suck. :reading:

I have to agree that for the most part the dealers are borderline criminals. As a matter of fact the local dealer here has "retained" every lawyer within a five county radius to stop people from sueing him.

That has nothing whatsoever to due with "FORD", only him as a dealer.

Well if you cancel your order you wont have to worry about someone finding it for you, besides you sound like a major pain in the ASS and also a idiot. You must think you are better than anyone else and you have a priority somewhere. Sometimes a business is better off not dealing with people like you.

How do you want someone to respond to your rant?

If Ford sucks as bad as you think.....how intelligent are you if you go ahead and purchase a vehicle from the company? I would think pretty fuckin stupid. Actually I bet everyone here would feel the same.

Go buy a Mustang GT competitor.....when you find it tell us what it is please.

You must live in a little town. We have about 8,000 attorneys in the Pittsburgh area. Too many to retain all of them.

Well if any of you have been to a Ford dealership lately...go in talk to the first salesman you find..start asking him specific ?'s about any Ford car..my bet...he won't know the answers. This is just my observation and my opinion...You all don't have to get offended and pissed off. Also have you seen how much the Ford parts cost....RIP off!! My car is still being built.....only cause I like the new mustang body style..and all the aftermarket mods. And for competitors cars..their is the new 08 camaro...which will be faster...but Chevy is no good...Im sure u will agree their..since Chevy is Fords rival....and have u watched the news lately...all you hear is how Ford is losing billions of dollars each year...I hope Ford can rebound and find the right managers. :stirpot:

I agree. That's why I've always ordered my cars. I go to KBB and get all the codes for the vehicle I want, print it out and head over to the nearest fleet salesman and just say "order this for me".

Psssst.............. there is no such thing as an '08 Camaro. The Camaro is still over a year away (probably closer to a year and a half).

I used to test drive cars in my spare time. Everything from Porsche's to Lambo's, to Vettes, to Toyotas, to Fords. I found there to be pretty much one constant when it came to dealerships................ short of high end cars, pretty much no salesman/woman knows much of anything about their product. I always taught them a great deal about their own products. They would even offer me jobs (no thank you).

If you want to see rip-off prices for parts, feel free to check on parts for any "import." This includes "American" Toyotas and such. As someone who had an auto repair and towing business for 9 years, the price of import parts always amazed me. I figured they must send a rowboat to Japan for each solenoid.............. to justify the price. Many of their parts were also rather complex, and included things that you didn't want.............. because they were made together.

That said, you sound kinda silly when you use the highly intelligent phrase of "Ford sucks," and then proceed to tell us that you still have one of those sucky Fords on order. They either suck or they don't. They don't suck for everything except the one thing you like. Sorry............... it just doesn't work that way.

I didn't know Ford was responsible for it's dealers not being edjumacated when It comes to selling the cars. The simple solution is find a new dealer.... every brand has crap dealers but not all dealers are bad. Or here's another novel solution do your own research, its the 21st century you can find anything on the internet.

Population 17,000. we have about 25 to 30 lawyers and He has all of them on retainer.A freind of mine got ripped off really bad and had to go to Louisville to get a lawyer that wasnt in his pocket. She won her case but it was hard to find someone to take it.

Most, NOT ALL, salespeople have their heads up their ass. It happens at German dealers and it happens at Japanese branded ones as well.

If it was something that you wanted that bad, I would have asked for someone that knew what was going on. I recently encountered a bunch of BS when I leased the Audi, the guy had no idea where my friggin car was. One day it was on a ship, the other it was at port and then back on the ship. I finally got fed up, went over his head and talked to his sales manager. Issue was not only resolved, I ended up with 1K off of sticker and a freebie. You just have to know how to play their game.

Hi Ebritt. That is amazing. Usually the cost of having 25 lawyers on retainer would be costly. I have seen something similar in my practice where someone has a consult with the top 10 divorce lawyers to get them and their firms out of the game. The problem is that there is always someone from the next town over who will take the case. I practice regularly in 4 counties adjacent to Pittsburgh. There are always lots of out of towners handling cases here. It is good to hear that your friend won her case. Chalk one up for the good guys.

Eventually the lawyers he doesn't use won't make any money from him and will realize that they can do better suing him than defending him. Since most conflict cases are specific, they will be able to go against him after a while.

A bad dealer is the worst thing Ford can have since the customer doesn't distinguish the dealer from the company.

BTW Louisville is one of my favorite places. You are fortunate to live in such a great part of the country.

  • 17 years later...

I bought a Ford Maverick for my wife. They sold her almost 4000.00 dollars of bogus maint insurance that is only good in Salt Lake City UT. We live in St Georege, Utah. 400 miles south. I spoke to the Insurance carrier Total Care Auto and they said they would refund me but have not yet and they will not return my phone calls. The dealer LHM Ford in Salt Lake City received $1544.89 of the money and they will not refund a dime of it. They also will not call you back. I called Ford Corporate and they said there was nothing they could do about their dealers. What a joke. I cannot believe the dishonesty that prevails with businesses in our country right now. I will file a complaint with the insurance dept here in Utah. I also plan on take both entities to small claims court. I will never buy another Ford again and hope they and their dishonest dealers go out of business like Sears. They will screw enough people and they won't have any business after a fashion even if they give their cars away.

It's factually true that Ford cannot compel dealers on a lot of issues due to state franchise laws - it's not just Ford - Toyota, Honda, etc. are experiencing the same dealer problems.

At the end of the day, you have to look at the dealer sales agreement before you sign it.

Is it the Larry h. Miller located in Draper? That's who we've purchased our last few Ford's through. They are probably the most reasonable dealership I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with, so this seems very out of character for them. I would keep on it, and try to work things out.
