Deanh
don't think I missed THAT fordman. Hopefully its just a shadow.. Edited March 12, 2015 by Deanh
fordmantpw
Looks like the creases are a bit deeper on the fenders of the F150 than the F250.
wildosvt
They've got tape and filler on the glass to hide character details on the prototype. If you recall, I mentioned to you that the 150/250 would share base IP design also. That was a few years ago now. It will be fun to see if they changed their minds. jpvbs
EDIT: Zooming in, the top one does appear to have the manual locking hubs, so it is likely 4WD. Can you have manually locking hubs with IFS?
akirby
Can you have manually locking hubs with IFS? Of course. Why not?
fordmantpw
Can you have manually locking hubs with IFS? I don't know, I was wondering the same thing as I was typing that edit. I don't know why not. The old TTB "IFS" did (I know, bad example).

blwnsmoke
This pic is legit. It was taken in Dearborn.. Not one positive comment on this truck on either of the Ford Diesel forums I spend time on. I think it is a really bad angle and really bad lighting.. but ugh.. what the hell is Ford thinking. Makes me very happy I invested in my 8 year ESP on my 2015 F350.. Edited March 12, 2015 by blwnsmoke
94bronco
Yikes that is ugly, should have stayed a completely different truck from the F-150! There is a reason why the Superduty dominates its market. Looks like I may have to trade my 12 in on a 16 next year.
LincolnV
Tough crowd. Looks like a 2015 F-150 with a more rugged front clip and a window line that is raised above the bedline. It's as different from the 2015 F-150 as the current SD is from the 2014 F-150.
MY93SHO
When the Super Duty came out in 1999 the negatards said it "looks like a Ram!" Now it's "Looks like a Chevy!" I predict in the end it won't matter.

sullynd
The grill is the only part I'm not a fan off, and there will doubtlessly be other options.

It appears this truck shares the cab with the F150. The '14 F150 and F250 aren't even close to the same.

Biker16
I am happy ford is finally merging the F150 and the Super Duty. it has been a long time coming. The next question is when or if they make the Transit's Cab the cab for their heavy Duty trucks. There is more utility with the interior packaging of the transit in cab and cutaway uses than in the Super Duty, opening up the possibility of a double Cab Version along with other variants for the heavy Duty Segment. Deanh
Biker, maybe in lighter GVWs, but I doubt theres anything they could do to the transit to get it to the over 19000 lb gvws of the 550 chassis

jpd80
LOL, I laughed at some of the comments on GMI... "looks terrible, I wouldn't buy one..' Hello, Ford owns the HD market and is about to gap the competition's 2500 and 3500 products by a Loong way. I would trade new Lincolns any day of the week to let Ford build Alloy trucks, the response to F150 is sensational.

Agree on all counts. I would have to believe that the Transit glasshouse should hold some possibility for a new Medium duty cab in place of the Super Duyty with a high seating position and great forward visibiity.
