I rarely adjust the vents in my car. I think they realized that to be true for most people.

Wouldn’t that also be an argument against them then? If you rarely move them, why add the complexity of motors and software?

My main concern with vent direction and other controls being exclusively implemented in the display is the single point of failure potentially impacting several important features.

It does seem unnecessary, but being able to adjust the passenger side vents from the driver seat would be nice as well as tying vent position to seat memory.

This edition looks beautiful, How is it possible that we haven't seen it?

I think I like the regular Black Label the best.

Btw there is a one new feature that we haven’t seen and there is not much info about: Turn signal view

Other new driver-assist features for Navigator include Turn Signal View, which projects a camera view of the adjacent lane on the 48-inch panoramic display when the turn signal is engaged

It does what it says-I found it rather distracting on a Santa Fe I was in that had it.

I think what it does is clear, I was referring that there is no video or anything about it.

Other mfrs have it and personally I don’t like it.  I can glance to my right and immediately see the orange light in the rear view mirror.  With a camera you have to interpret the video which takes a lot longer.

When it’s just me in the car yes, but I find myself adjusting them quite a bit with kids in the back on these 100+ degree days we’ve been having. Now, if they had a “memory” option like seats do, I could see that working quite well.

Maybe it’s just me, but my experience has never been set it and forget it even with the automated systems. I would never pass on these systems because I think they are very useful, but circumstances dictate the settings for me and it is not always the same.  It seems the automated vents seem a little more complex than need be, but I haven’t ever used anything like that so maybe not.

I was checking at some articles and find this interesting:

You can have any engine you like as long as it’s a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 developing 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, both of which are class-competitive. For now, at least, Lincoln won’t be offering a hybrid version of the Navigator. Apparently the company's customer research showed little appetite for any form of electrification.

All-wheel drive is standard and the suspension has been updated front and rear. The Navigator features electronic damping as standard in a bid to provide the level of ride comfort expected of such a road-trip-friendly machine. Lincoln’s engineers admit that they considered air suspension but opted against it, despite the technology being offered on the rival Cadillac Escalade.

I've heard horror stories about air suspension units failing after only a few years-a coworker of mine swapped his out of his GM that he had since someone makes a cheater kit that allows you to use standard shocks.

It might be great on a 3500lb Sports car, but a 5000K+ SUV maybe not so much.

Ford had used air suspension on the expy and navi for almost 2 decades until they stopped in 2015.  The 1st 2 gens were notorious for failing, but only after years and 10s of thousands of miles.  The 3rd gens even less so.  My 09 nav had 175k before trading and the air suspension was flawless for the 75k miles I put on her.

My coworkers truck failed after 5 or 7 years...but then again it was GM product we are talking about here.

How ppl do cars nowadays, it would only need to last 3 yrs lol.  Long term benefits of coils is better, but if lincoln wants ppl to buy the truck, air suspension would do wonders.  Also, with how bad the regular shocks were for the base expy when the 4th gens were released, I mean is it rele a benefit over the air springs.

I’d like to see this in action. I have only seen this on Hyundai products and the video is shown in the cluster and is about the size of the speedometer. I’d be interested to see what it looks like on the 48” screen. It might make it a little more user friendly if the screen is larger and further away from you so you don’t have to look down.

The escalade v isn't there volume trim, it's there niche trim.  People who want the v aren't checking for lincoln, they'd compare it to the alpina or the amg.

As much as ppl complain amd balk about not having the v8, the v6 has proven itself a better engine than the 6.2 v8.  To me, I dnt care if it sounds better, does it perform better?
