Agree and in the late twenty teens, the tide was definitely going against sedan sales for Ford, it’s doubtful whether any amount of refresh/new platform would have lifted sales. So switching to other products like Bronco Sport and Maverick
The thing that gets me is why was Fusion so much more expensive to build in the same Mexican plant compared to Maverick and Bronco Sport?
Hello All,
Having an issue with my Air conditioning.
I recently purchased my truck with non working AC. the ac lines were all rotted out.
Replaced compressor and AC lines.
Replaced High pressure switch
Charged oil as required and properly charged freon into the system. AC was nice and cool then a few minutes later the relief valve blows off losing any charge i just put in the truck.
Sometimes after that it will run no problem then blow off again until ac dont work.
I have pressure tested system with nitrogen then vacuum pumped it down before charging. Kind of lost.
I also cleaned out the condenser coil.
Is there a way to access the evap coil? There is no filter access.
Prices are starting to come back down on these things, keep an eye out on marketplace and you can probably find a pretty good one for a decent price. Things got out of hand during covid.
I am looking at buying a 2000 f250 super cab 7.3 with 185k on it. I’m in Wisconsin and wondering what people think a food price would be? It has minimal to rust but drivers seat is cracked up. Pretty stock truck
Thats my point. Camry and Accord were the best of the best yet their sales still dropped. The sales numbers show that lack of refreshes didn’t hurt at all in 2011.
Saying it would have been higher sales and more profitable with more regular refreshes is simply ignoring facts and common sense. And I’m all for more regular refreshes, I just do t believe it had anything to do with the demise of sedans.
Camry and Accord got refreshes quite regularly...the original Fusion (2006) got one refresh in its original sheet metal (had one and loved it, traded for a 2012 with the refresh and loved it too) then a redesign in 2013 that was never refreshed until its demise.
Not necessarily a bad thing
You can label anything you want, it makes no difference
Socialist creeps always piss me off....the irony is, here in NY State, the Dems and their "progressive liberals" have left the union members in the dust and the GOP endears themselves to the union members.
