Looking for tips on popping out the 12 volt power outlet in the rear seat console.    Do not really want to break anything.   Seem's like I should be able to use a trim tool and work it between the plug cover and the trim.  Then twist and pop it out.   Anyone know for sure?   I want to access the 12 volt power wires and add  in a two prong 12 volt plug for my refrigerator power.  The circular 12 volt plug get's knocked out to easily when traveling.     Thanks in advance.

We'll see how things unfold. I believe it's implied that the mustang will indeed get a new platform after the s650, which makes sense that Ford is basically all in on the mustang right now. But given consumer preferences, I believe this next gen mustang platform will be ICE powered still, likely with 2.3 and 5.0 hybrids.    We've heard about hybrid mustangs for years, and know ford wants to offer them. We've also seen mustang mules with clues that they could be hybrids.    So my guess is Ford brings in the 2.3 and 5.0 hybrids for the s650 refresh in a couple of years. Then the next gen mustang coupe and sedan utilize those same powertrains. That's just what I see happening, who knows how accurate that prediction will be. 

It is regional.  We just put the last of the Hemi Chargers we ordered into service and will invest in the four door "6 Packs" when released.  Municipality of 100,000 and 100 sq. miles.   So there would be a market, somewhere.   Personally... I would love an updated replacement to my Fusion at some point and I wish they'd done the Fusion Active but life is full of disappointments. 

It's possible.  January and February production were within a few units of each other and pretty close to a monthly average of last year......I don't know what December production figures were like, but last November was only 2k units.

By that time, Ford was pushing the Escape more than Focus, it seems that North America was glad to shed the Focus as soon as it wasn’t needed as a CAFE offset for Ford’s larger cars.   They always had this idea that if the Escape was more of a  crossover, it could pick up Focus buyers…..

I wonder if it still has supply chain issues like Ford was claiming in December 

I’m just saying if you take out Edge and Mustang then sales are flat.

Hybrids continue to do well.  That’s a plus.
