Well "plaster" in any case is the right word.  Not exactly a thought central to this thread but I have been meaning to say something about how GM designates a vehicle with a distinctive 3d chrome badge-like "Z-71" and Ford "plasters" a decal instead. My son has his second "new" Bronco-first was a manual, another story 🤔- and this new one had a sticker over 60g....same sticker- "proudly" displayed.

I'm in the "my door is broke" category.  It's been almost a year and Ford still hasn't provided me a new door.  They said they'd do the passenger door bracket at the same time.     I would like to have my trans fluid, PTU, and diff fluid all changed.  I think I'm going to make them do the passenger door fix at the same time.   The bracket on my driver door was flopping around inside the door.  I got tired of waiting for them to get me a new door.  I watched a YT video on installing rivets to hold the broken bracket to the door.  So that's what I did.  Drilled a bunch of holes and put in rivets.  Unless you're looking, you can't see them.  But still kinda pisses me off.  Shouldn't be taking this long.  They're still making the Escape for cripes sake.
