yes a wheelbase extension is a given. My point was jus that they need to make sure that they stretch it enough to give the back seat plenty of room.
Those both look terrible, imo.
IDK man, I'm not feeling either of these. The issue with AI is it's pretty terrible at creating a new design language or even going off the latest design language. I've tried to create futuristic mustang renderings and it just spits tweaked s550s at me. Both of these renderings are working with outdated design language from like 2018.
The refreshed models look better
The Mark VII looks too much of a product of the 1980s in my eyes-it looks good for its period but otherwise doesn't really stand the test of time.
The MN12 platform was a mess from the get go-there was lots of complaints about it being overweight and expensive. It died in less then 10 years but also that segment was pretty much dead by the time it came out.
I’m still suprised Lincoln never got a version of the Mach-E. Was ford concerned with demand or potential pricing? Most Ford products should have a Lincoln imo.
Few except for entymology geeks know what zephyr means:
zephyr | ˈzefər |
noun
1 literary a soft, gentle breeze: "sweet zephyrs just stirred the woods with their breath."
• (Zephyr) a personification of the west wind.
Loosely fits with Lincoln's "Quiet Flight" mantra, but the name got tarnished when Mercury slapped it on the Fairmont clone; no going back. Lincoln tried it again on the CD-3 variant for a couple years before going with MK-Z. Ford, and domestic carmakers in general, have tarnished originally cool car names by recycling them or shifting them to a completely wrong car; think Cougar,Thunderbird, Capri, the aforementioned Zephyr, or even to different company e.g. Edsel and Chevrolet Citation
