Obviously more downforce, I'm willing to bet HP north of 1,000 given that we know the predator can do that with no issues. At the very least I see it beating the zr1, maybe the zr1x. The GTD was clearly a case of having really good chassis balance and grip, but being slightly underwhelming on the straights compared to a lot of the cars it's competing against.
If this version is a demon in a straight line to match the handling, it's over.
The thing I've never liked about that feature is that it wants the vehicle in accessory mode for it to work. The whole point is for me to turn it on without killing the battery having interior stuff on.
They took away control over my Expedition's perimeter lighting with a promise to "bring it back soon." It's been forever and this update still doesn't rectify that!
Outsourcing also means not being responsible for labor. If demand for widgets falls, you can't just fire the UAW employees who make them in-house, but if they're externally purchased, you can reduce volumes or cancel orders, and it becomes, say, Magna's personnel problem and not yours.
IIRC, it actually HAS been planned and allocated a few times to upgrade it, but it's been pulled back each time.
I think I remember someone saying the issue is ....I think the paint booth, not the factory itself?
While that might have been the smart thing to do, I'm thinking that the SD move to Canada was a warning shot to the UAW so they know they don't have Ford's crown jewels in a vice next contract. Given the rhetoric that is coming in 2028, things might get very messy then.
