This Telluride looks better, but I'm the opposite on a lot of the latest Hyundai/Kia products - they're going with that origami 80s futuristic look that looks cool for 5 minutes and then just looks old/weird. Their latest wheel designs are by FAR the ugliest in the industry too.
It would be interesting to know how my data is interpreted when I do a long road trip (e.g. traveling to our snowbird location in Florida). I suspect it categorizes me as an owner that rarely plugs in my PHEV.
I said 2025+ meaning future models too. The fact that warranty costs are down significantly plus all of the recent problems identified very quickly only affecting a few thousand units say they’re headed in the right direction. Of course it doesn’t guarantee future success but this is how process changes work. That is not negated by finding new problems that occurred before the process changes were put in.
My bad — you’re right that announced reveal was of concept. The source could have been clearer. Anyway, appearance of this car looks pretty good to me from some angles and not others. One video suggested car appears wider and lower than existing Corolla, which seems unlikely in final form. I can see it becoming wider but with trend towards taller vehicles a lower Corolla is unlikely IMO. A lower Corolla could improve fuel economy and feel sportier but would make it harder to get in and out. Hard to say what they end up with since taller-vehicle demand may be covered with other models like the cross.
Did not read entire study but data suggest that PHEV emissions are being analyzed based on tailpipe basis, not actually overall, otherwise how could they have even started with a number as low as 35 grams CO2 per kilometer? Unless CO2 from electricity generation is ignored, how is that possible? And if recent “real world” data shows PHEVs so much higher due to engine emissions, then adding more for electric power plants emissions makes it even worse than being reported. The whole thing is crazy.
Apparently EREVs are a target along with PHEVs.
oh yeah, i don't think i've had that one done either. I don't think they have parts for it yet.
So I have the fuel pump and now the seat one still to do.
Uh that is the concept (same color/wheels) as what was poste before....just the windows aren't photoshoped/tinted out
That window drop in the front door looks awful IMO.
