I tried to drive it around the 'ring, and it was so boring I couldn't even finish the lap. -

Agreed, it's about 30 grand starting as well, so right where CE1 wants to start. I think Ford's take on that where they came out with this sharp, muscular, sculpted sedan that was super affordable would be really neat. -
Won’t happen, F250-600 Super Duty Chassis cab and pick up overflow is their plan. 80-100000 units. Retooling of the plant is far along and will be completed in the next few months. One shift operation except for the stamping plant itwill be three shifts there. No idea if there will ever be more shifts added. Getting back in there after being off since May 3 2024 will be an achievement.

The current state of OAC is that 300 people have been called back. Leaders, MP&L, Metal guys from Body and some Paint people. There’s over 3000 contractors in the plant and minimal space to train people. Some people took some training at the union hall some at Ford of Canada headquarters which is on the property. The new Stamping plant is nearing completion. They want to start the TT build April 12. Word is we might all be back in June, time will tell. We will be called back trained in class then laid off again til when they’re ready for us. Also we have to bid on jobs which the process isn’t read yet so still some time to go. No product will come out of Oakville til later in the year I can tell you that. That’s my update.

This is the first time I have seen this. I’d buy that over pretty much any sedan in the market right now in the USA.

Which is insane considering this is a 4,000 lb front engine muscle car we're talking about. We'll see if the 6:41 time proves accurate, but if it is, holy shit. -
I hope this gen bronco gets the android system this gen and not have to wait until 2031 to get it.

Unofficial laptime but that would put it in 2nd place ahead of the Manthey 911 gt2 rs and only behind the mercedes amg one at 6:29.

I think they aren't the typical sasquatch tire size, something seems off about them. -
Yep, premium sounds about right for the R2, however that also includes the off-road ability too. Starting at 45k, I think it’s a decent price for what you are getting. A bronco sport badlands starts at 40k, and the R2 is much nicer, larger, and is probably just as good if not better off road. I think the ce1 suv needs to come in closer to low to mid 30s though. If you look at most of its competitors, that’s where they fall. It would seem odd for ford to invent a completely new way of manufacturing vehicles to save on cost, then price it more than the competition.
