lol it isn’t even an suv anymore. They could have called it a bronco and it would have been as close to that as this thing is to the mach e. Does look cool though.
What’s the real point of this comparison? Relatively speaking sales of all these trucks are very low compared to original estimates and or projections, some would say dismal failures, so what does this ranking prove, that one is not the worst of the worst? We should know more in a day or two when May sales are released, but my take is that there is nothing here to brag about, for any of them.
Since the last minute delay/cancellation of GE2, a lot of the upgrades planned for Mach E have changed
a bit as Ford scrambles to find the best fit of motors batteries and controllers to keep prices under control.
Mach E having a coupe twin now seems so hard because it’s been too long (2018 when EMax changed)
but Ford was lucky that Mach E was seen as a competitor to Tesla Y but BEV interest is a bit subdued ATM
Yes, the BYD Sealion 6 is a good package which means that anything seen as less
value will struggle. I think Territory would work in Australia but understand that it
would be fighting against established competition as well as newer Chinese brands.
Ford needs a hybrid utility to go up against RAV4 which is romping away with sales.
True, but it's not working. If it's not gonna work as an edge replacement, I just say lean even harder into the idea of a muscle car utility. Believe it or not, a lot of mustang owners kinda like how the mach-e looks, they just don't believe it should wear the mustang pony. Making it even more muscle car like would win some of those people over imo. I'd love a sharper, meaner design with more muscular surfacing.
I'd love a mach-e front end with this lighting, and a less bulbous looking grille cutout.
