Yep, nearly the same GVWR as the F650 in the F550 chassis and size and available with 4WD which I don't think the F650 and 750 are.  Quite a few RV manufacturers building super-C's on the F600 chassis.

Just boils down to personal preference. The market has indicated that most buyers will over buy in a vehicle because they want to.    You can raise 2 young kids in an Escape, but I bet that mom wouldn't turn down an Explorer or Expedition instead if it was an option. 

Edmunds did a comparison test last year between Maverick hybrid and Civic Hatchback hybrid. This is what they said at the end:   Which is better? At the end of the day, I've gotta go with the Civic. The interior quality beats the Maverick hands down, the standard driver assists work well, and the hatchback is plenty utilitarian for me, as I recently proved on a road trip. The fuel economy is nothing to sneeze at either. While I might miss the Maverick's hauling and towing capabilities from time to time, the Civic is simply a better all-arounder.

Was Farley not responsible for making Ford go back to the drawing board on the Bronco and the Mach E? The Maverick also came out during his tenure as CEO. I know that all these products were in development prior to him being CEO but he has to get some credit.

Agreed. I think what you'll see is a variety. Vaguely grille shapes sticking around with some EVs, and other EVs still retaining a contrasting design element. An example of that would be like the European EV explorer, how it doesn't have a grille shape, but it has that black contrasting line running across the top of the front end, which makes it look a lot better imo.
