transitman
I'd love to have one of these, but I don't have 42K to get one the way I would like.
Deanh
Im still not that fussed on front end styling...hell, Im not sold on Hyundais similar looking interpretation...and now there's an AUDI that looks eerily similar! Edstock
Now how about an Edge Sport RS, with the 3.5 EB?
ANTAUS
I agree, it does, So many interpretations of this new "in style" grill by so many already, its getting old actually. And now the Conti has a Kia like grill too, etc. ehh....
rmc523
Im still not that fussed on front end styling...hell, Im not sold on Hyundais similar looking interpretation...and now there's an AUDI that looks eerily similar! I think the new Q7 looks terrible. Too squared off and wagon looking (no I'm not intending to begin that argument here). Regarding the Edge - the local dealer had 3 new ones - 2 outside (one a Sport, one a Titanium), and 1 inside (don't remember what trim it was - either a Sport or Titanium). Anyway, I thought they looked great inside and out. Here's a few pics - not sure what happened on the first one, but for some reason parts of the image became wavy (you can see it in the grille especially), so it's the image, not the vehicle. ANTAUS
I still can't get over that off centered lower fascia air opening. Even in my favorite color of black it doesn't hide it.
fordmantpw
I still can't get over that off centered lower fascia air opening. Even in my favorite color of black it doesn't hide it. I've seen a couple other people complain about that, and it took me quite a while to pick up on what the complaint was. Truth is, if you aren't looking for it, I don't think it is that noticable. Focus on the other, better looking, parts of the car, and I think you will be way ahead!
Kev-Mo
Surprisingly here in Toyota/Subaru land, I have already seen several of the new Edge on the road. They are strikingly handsome in person. My favorite being the deep red color.
jpd80
This is going to be a nice little profit earner for Ford, a nice balance of elegance and performance.

Dave-S
That off center opening in the lower grill is awful. Maybe the aftermarket will step up with a suitable replacement.
rmc523
It's for the radar equipment (or whatever it is) for the cruise control ....they can't just "replace it." Edited April 26, 2015 by rmc523
akirby
It's for the radar equipment (or whatever it is) for the cross control ....they San just "replace it." I've also said this numerous times but nobody seems to listen.
sullynd
Waiting for the oil to be changed in my Flex, dealer has two 2015 Edge on the lot. Very sharp. It's raining, and I don't want to deal with the sales drone or I'd try for a test drive. Wish the 15 had, or was upgradable to, the new SYNC. Seems like a miss to me. Trying to put it out before it's ready would be far worse.

Ford did this with MFT and look what a disaster that was.
jasonj80
I drove the new sport today, not impressed and actually a huge let down, passenger side floorboard was just uncomfortable with the sloping angle couldn't find a comfortable position in the seat with the short seat cushion. Stearing was oddly weighted, interior front seemed kinda cramped and when you'd hit the settings on MFT it would go to the screen then flip back to the main screen after 5 seconds. Materials were average for the segment for the price and while it is a bit smaller I find the MKC a more polished vehicle. akirby
Yes. Ford did this with MFT and look what a disaster that was. You don't have to tell me. It debuted on the 2011 Edge and it resulted in at least 2 years of heated debate and frustration over on the fordedgeforum.com, and I had to moderate it.

Anthony
I gave up trying to admin / moderate a forum (over 80k members). Others do it now. It just got tiring.
akirby
There really isn't much moderating required on Robert's forums, outside of a couple of incidents.

I cannot speak to the drivability of it, but I found the front to be comfortable in the one I sat in in the showroom. I hope to test drive one soon. Also, I'd hope (being a Lincoln) that the MKC is more refined. Edited April 26, 2015 by rmc523
PREMiERdrum
My hose was a little bigger..... That's what they all say. Maybe it's the angle of the photograph? I cannot speak to the drivability of it, but I found the front to be comfortable in the one I sat in in the showroom. I hold to test drive one skin. Also, I'd hope (being a Lincoln) that the MKC is more refined. Remmy, are you getting autocorrected a lot lately or did you have a stroke I'm not aware of?
