Wonder if that's what opens up Bronco to global consumption too? the powerboost in the F150 has had absolutely unreal response from those that have driven it, 2.7 powerboost in this and maybe the Warthog makes perfect sense. Arguably, there's already a "3.0 Powerboost" in the PHEV Explorer/Aviator. Ford really has an embarrassment of riches to choose from. PREMiERdrum
The Bronco's design - in any form - has a striking on-road presence. The Warthog variant? Exponentially more so.
SoonerLS
Weird that it had a DOT number. Aren't those only for commercial vehicles?

jcartwright99
I am pretty sure this is why Jeep put a V8 in the Wrangler. Also why I fully expect a limited amount of Hellcat Wranglers. MUST WIN MEASURING CONTEST AT ALL COSTS! Jeep is going to have their hands full next year. Nothing a 10k rebate and free lift won't solve.

You need a DOT number if you plan to do one of the following: Drive a commercial vehicle on interstate routes Use vehicles that weigh more than 10,000 pounds Transport nine to 15 passengers for compensation Transport 16 or more passengers without compensation Transport hazardous materials So obviously, we are looking at a prototype of Bronco Club Wagon, not Warthog. Under the camo, there is room for 16...
