Thanx for the clarification, but I don't think I can accrue points or tier status very fast spending money at a dealership or on Ford parts/service. I just got a boatload of points for buying an Explorer, so I'll burn them up before the deadline to offset major service due on the Ranger. Oh, well. Fun while it lasted.
I understand what the government is trying to do but the whole thing has been poorly executed and even if America now walks back every tariff imposed by the Whitehouse, America is now a country that does this sort of thing.
Its all coming from Peter Navarro, he’s convinced the president and others that the US can replace taxation with tariffs which means basically a consumption tax on the things you buy that are imports.
The tariff on China now mean it’s effectively an embargo on those goods, are people going to pay those massive tariffs until replacement products come from friendly countries or made in USA?
There will need to be negotiation because change can’t and won’t happen overnight.
Australia is pissed, you guys have a surplus with us and yet we get a 10% tariff?
Theres now calls to cancel the AUKUS submarine deal in retaliation, I hope that doesn’t happen. Point is you don’t treat allies in such a shitty way.
Is there anyone out there that can provide an upgrade to Sync 3.4 from Sync 3.0. Seems like a lot of info here that leads no where. Ford does not provide any software to upgrade anything other than the nav. I wish there was an organization that just could provide the upgrade to 3.4 vis USB, for a fee of course. Obvious would need vehicle specific info from owner. It is way to convoluted trying to follow any paths I have found online, even cyan has no clear tutorial. Am a Forscan user and some experience there...
Hi
Thank for your reply,my order with a scheduled production week of February 17, 2025 (entering production on February 21, 2025). Since the production started, the status has been stuck at 'IN PRODUCTION' with no further updates until now. Is this normal?😅
For those who need a back seat it’s probably impractical, but for those who rarely ever need a back seat, having the longer bed may make it more practical, not less. That was the case for my 90s 2-door regular-cab Ranger with 6-foot bed. The biggest negative I had to my Ranger was lack of a secure lockable storage area, and if this truck being an EV has a good-size front truck, it addresses that shortcoming quite well. Granted this truck size and cab configuration is not for everyone, but I’d bet there is a substantial market for it if price is indeed in $25k range. The greatest limitation to mass acceptance at present IMO is it being a BEV, which many people still consider impractical.
The issue is not is they can do it... I'm sure they think they can. BUT, it will depend on the connector, the delivery unit, and of course the upgradability of said unit.
From what I've seen, they can't even make a working structure of delivery units that even work.... and are covered from the elements to make any of this viable.
Think if you had to look around for a filling station (typically an ICE unit) to only find a working one but it's not going to protect you from the elements... 😎
I could be mistaken, but my interpretation is that the FordPass Rewards Program is not being discontinued. The change is related to the FordPass Rewards Visa Card transitioning to the GearUp Visa with a new GearUp Rewards Program.
