Aero is important for range but it’s not THE most important thing for most buyers.   Given a choice of a striking design with 300 miles of range vs a less appealing design with 350 miles for the same price - most would go for better styling.

If the EV Escape replacement is similar in price and gets decent range, there shouldn't be an issue with it selling.

Exactly.  The ones complaining either haven’t used one for an extended period or are just stuck in the past.

I posted this because it highlights a very important thing about electrification.  Investments in Electrification are more likely not to be limited to the Automotive sector; investments in batteries, inverters, and software and hardware can be shared with other industries. Batteries are the most visible comoditiy,  LiFePo Battery cells  EV battery pack Power Station   Home Battery  There are also multiple uses for other EV components like Inverters, which can be used in Solar, Wind, and other uses, that benefit from the advances in technology and lower cost brought about by these investments.  

Things can be made aerodynamic AND good looking at the same time.   Mercedes made their products look like melted soap bars, and naturally the market has reacted poorly because they just don't look very good.

I don't believe it will go up hill with a loaded trailer in tow without a driver.

You can probably do the same with an automatic, but may be a little faster than you want it to go. 😄 

My guess is cd6, which I'm ok with if Ford can prevent making the next gen mustang significantly heavier. 

I didn't like it either, until I used one.  It's much easier to use as it's closer to the driver's line of sight and you don't have to take your eyes off the road as much to focus on the screen.
