My 26 with 22 inch wheels are 36F / 39R. The 40 series tires don't provide a decent ride quality so I have 19 inch Aviator wheels on order, I'll mount P265/55R19 tires on them which should provide a more comfortable ride quality. The brakes are 15 inches wide so you could put a 17 inch wheel on the Aviator without a fitment issue, just watch your offset.
There’s a 19 billion charge coming in Q4 and whether this is more of a paper loss is besides the point.Â
Every time Ford jumps  the gun and gets it wrong, it has to spend even more money to change course.
Â
and even with that course change, is a whole new plant even needed for the expected number of EREVs?
Im asking because perhaps REVC is all that’s needed for the rest of the decade…
The start of 2028 is now two years away and there’s no sign that buyer mood on BEV trucks is changing.
From Bikers link, Ford has sunk $5 billion into what I assume was CE1 project, Louisville reconfiguration and battery production….that’s a lot of money to recover.
Â
Â
Its not number of models per se but total vehicle volume. Â CE1 has at least 4 models planned. Â Also the cheaper you can make the platform the less you need to sell to amortize it.
