That's ridiculous....       This vehicle analytics push of "oh, according to vehicle data, only x% of people use this feature, let's delete it to save $2" is horrible.  I understand that from Ford's side, they can save money if people aren't using it, but to those that do use these features, it's more and more things they're taking away while charging more and more.  They're going to push customers away if they continue this.   While not ideal, they could at least embed it in the center screen if they want to save $0.50 on the buttons in the visor, at least so it has the capability...

Well, in this case, the alternative is to leave a brand new plant empty...

I did that in my 2011 Super Duty.  I bought it used and it didn't have HomeLink, so bought one off eBay and swapped it in.  Why they would quit offering it even as an option is beyond me.

I was able to swap out a lariat Visor to get it on my 2018 F150 XLT.   I get that a lot of folks don't use it and it's not a dealbreaker but it's darned close.  It's a plug and play swap if higher trims have it and the driver's visor has a lighted mirror.
