Yes, let me clarify my stance, When you look at what Ford is talking about,  there are some all new models planned plus a load of refreshes Combine them all together and you have a decent amount  of what most consider new product but what I’m talking  about is all new vehicles and that is what Ford normally delivers at that one per year rate I mentioned earlier.   Arguably, Ford now has a lot riding on the new mid sized BEV, the last thing they will do is drop it like a hot potato but, if it doesn’t catch buyer imagination sales could end up like the Mach E…. and then what?

It took some getting used to at first, but funny enough now I get in other cars and find myself reaching to the middle to put the windows down haha.

OK, I guess that's a valid point.  But, really, you could still roll the window down on the door(s) that's left, you just couldn't do it from the driver's seat.  And, I mean, that would probably happen to 1% of folks 1% of the time.  I'd rather have the switches in the normal spot for that other 99.99% of the time.  At any rate, it is what it is, and I can live with it.  I just like to bitch when things are different.  lol

Honestly, at least from an outside perspective, Ford's in a good spot platform wise, and all they really need to do is keep the products fresh with new exteriors and interiors.

It's not for saving wiring.........your drivers/front doors are the most likely ones to be off right?  Well, if you put the switches on the door like normal, and take the driver door off, then the driver can't control any of the windows.     I saw these pictures surfacing recently - weird looking little thing ain't it?

I'd assume any product that is locked in for 2027/2028 is pretty much ready to go   I'm guessing the "new" stuff will be new power trains in existing products with new top hats   I'd be surprised if we wee more then one or two Brand new Products/Nameplates added to the lineup 

Not on the Boxster.  But you have to remember it's been stuck in 2017 with no real updates.  No siri integration outside apple carplay and reading text messages is super clumsy.     But then I drop the top, put it in sport plus mode and hit the twisties and all is well........

Tough times are coming and Ford’s plans will change again.  I’m betting one or two of them go backwards as reality hits.   For anyone watching Ford over the past few years, that’s no really guessing either….
