IIRC, I think we've seen some Ford patents for a system to pull the cargo area out toward the opening which could offset the split liftgate. I wonder if we'll see that too, since the tailgate portion puts you farther away from the expansive cargo area when the seats are down.
I'm guessing the reasoning behind the split lifgate is more for opening length purposes - since they're so long, the shorter liftgate lets it be opened in a shorter space.
They've mentioned it before, but they're constantly spitting out content, even if it's "FORD PRODUCTS NOW COME WITH WHEELS!" I appreciate the constant content, but some of the articles are like ....did we really need that article?
