Yes, recharging in the middle of a towing journey is completely different experience  to filling up at a gas station for a few minutes…..that is the big difference when it comes to range anxiety when towing, you roughly use three times more energy.   For now, Lightning and othe BEV Pickups are acting like surrogate big electric cars.

I know that Red  Label is what some buyers want but the wider issue is still how to attract more buyers to the brand. Many Lincolns are sitting unsold on dealers lots, perhaps it’s time for Ford to consider a better trim mix or possibly more incentives.

Just ordered a 2025 Lincoln Nautilus "Reserve III" Hybrid in Whisper Blue with Smoked Truffle interior and Jet Appearance Package.  Dealer said PRODUCTION should begin JAN.2025 with DELIVERY most likely in MARCH 2025.    Does this timeline make sense?

I think, going forward, every Ford and Lincoln will try to be exciting in some shame or form. Even the boring models.

Lots of choices out there with cheap, boring, unexciting Fords in the used car market. Try that first. Then try used Lincolns, there hasn't been an "exciting" Lincoln vehicle for nearly 20 years and they should be only a little more expensive than their Ford siblings when purchased used.   If you want to get your wife or kids a new vehicle from the Blue Oval using your A, X, or Z plan, 2024 Escape and 2024 Edge are two of the least exciting vehicles in the market today and have big rebates    

Not buying any more BMW motorcycles due to the poor reliability, but I've got 4 of the classic "airhead" boxer twins and an F800S vertical twin. Almost all of the repair parts come from everywhere but Germany so I'm nervous that Trump's tantrum de jour will put massive tariffs and price increases on the parts I need. Needless to say, I'm stocking up on parts!
