Whoops, I didn't read closely enough - I missed that his statement was regarding VDS, not IQS.
Disregard my above comments lol.
Let's hope that things continue to improve, and hope that the recall situation resolves itself soon, because even if they're minor issues and/or it's Ford being proactive rather than reactive, it's not a good look, and an easy target for a media that loves a punching bag. We all know how people love to read incendiary headlines these days too and media does it for clicks/ad revenue.
The New Mazda CX-5 Is Almost Here
So much for phasing out the single number CX-_ models. Obviously we can't see full details yet, but looks more or less like the outgoing one from spy shots. It debuts July 10th.
At the moment, there’s over 1,200 platinum 3.0 V6s available at Ford dealers nationwide,
so looks like maybe Ford is dropping the 3.0 V6 in Platinum because of low take rate?
Just remember, Hyundai Santa Fe looked like this in 2018 before the remodel...
Then, it was redesigned to look like this in 2024....
It is only 2.2 inches longer than the Santa Fe it replaced....I can see Escape doing the same thing on C2 Global using Maverick chassis for it's start.
The ST is the line topper (Tremor for the "off-road" crowd), the Platinum is for folks that find 300+ horsepower adequate in their "sedan"....my Timberline had a sufficient amount of hustle for the 2.3L Ecoboost.....jus' sayin'.....
