Forgive my crude lines, I'm just using a snip tool with the mouse and it didn't go very pretty lol
A few things that may be throwing you off:
1) Rendering/touched up AND pixelated/zoomed image, with a darkened scene vs. real world where you'll see all the support structure of every item.
2) chrome trim painted black in real world model, making it hard to delineate the horizontal lines seen on the real world one.
3) angle of the photo in the Aviator pic can distort the image, making it seem taller.
4) the rendering is from a few years ago now, IIRC, so it's possible there have been tweaks
5) the rendering seems to have a tighter mesh than the real thing, which will throw off the visual proportions.
Otherwise, all the other lines look close enough to chalk it up to image distortion for me.
Agreed they could've done more to differentiate it.
AND, I absolutely cannot understand why the Raptor (and Platinum) are not available in a real blue. Antimatter is far too dark. Atlas Blue is offered on the rest of the lineup except Raptor/Platinum, which get 800 grayscale colors + a red.
I don't know the proper term, but Ford calls it a whirring noise..... Has anyone experienced and/or been able to eliminate this whining or whirring noise that comes from the transmission. My truck is brand new and once warmed up (withing 10-15 minutes), this noise starts. It changes in intensity with acceleration and deceleration and it is super loud when next to a building or another vehicle at a light.
I also thought that at first but after checking the photos again I am in doubt now haha
could they have change it a bit?
Check this out:
The grille seems to be taller in the Aviator spy pics, and also the lower part seems different
