I leave most sports stuff to my wife. We were Bengals season ticket holders for 18 or so years. The money grabbing Brown family ruined me. I pay little attention to anything that isn't motorsports related. Dave.
My past two Escapes would prove that not to be the case.
Though the strange thing is my sister had an almost identical 2010 Escape to my wifes-same color just a higher trim level and she had more problems with hers then my wifes
This.
Dearborn is at a bit of a loss as to what to do with Ford Europe and apart from the continuing BEVs and Transit vans, I think they’re waiting for CE1 variants in a few years to replace the VW based Explorer and Capri.
The only up side here is that VW looks to be in even bigger hole needing must do affordable BEVs to survive
I think there's a near zero chance it'll be completely unique style wise to save development costs. At this point, I'd say we'll see it debut alongside (or maybe ushers in) a refresh of the '24+ model.
That's what I suggested earlier from a practicality standpoint - a hatch (with a coupe roofline) would make the most sense.
I don't understand why the visor mounted opener button is powered all of the time. Many of us have more vehicles than garage space. My Expedition lives in my driveway and anyone that breaks into it can then use the button on the visor to open my overhead door. Why not power the button from a circuit that is off when the vehicle is off? Dave.
Greetings to all of my fellow Blue Oval devotees. I live near Cincinnati, OH and always have. Nearly 73 years. My dad worked at the Ford Parts Depot in Evendale, OH (Cincinnati) from 1950 until retirement in 1980. Needless to say I grew up interested in cars and specifically Fords. My wife of 50 years and I continue to buy Ford, Lincoln and in the day, Mercury products. OK. I do have to admit to the '63 Corvette coupe that I owned for a couple of years. Jet boats were more important and the 'vet was not a tow car so I replaced it with a Chevy 4x4 pickup for towing purposes. I ordered a Expedition late last month to replace my 2017. I have a 1969 Mach 1 R code for my fun car. Rescued from a stalled restoration in Jacksonville, FL a career body man took 2 1/2 years to complete the job. We go to local car shows and cruise-ins. I enjoy meeting and talking with people with my same interests.
I spent 26+ years as a street cop in my home city and 14 more as a deputy bailiff in the municipal court. I also spent 6 years in the U.S. Army Reserves in a Military Police unit. Sharon and I both retired in 2014 so we are able to do some traveling. Our son lives near Orlando so we visit the grandkids a couple of times a year. As I write this I am sitting in a rented condo in Cocoa Beach looking at the sun and waves as well as hoping to see 2 launches tonight. Thanks for reading my ramblings. Dave.
Now a sport back I could live with. It would need to be an ICE with a hatch.
But alas, as previous stated by others, dealers were shown a sedan. So probably not in the cards.
