I understand your perspective, and I’m not disputing that he is trying to take steps to close that gap, but as I’m sure you’re aware, in today’s society there is a large number of the population that won’t read past the headline. Farley regularly uses hyperbolic wording against his own company that hits the headlines, which may have context in the body of the story, but people never see. I’m suggesting he chooses his words more carefully.
It's wild, unless I'm mistaken, Hackett was the one who really gutted Ford's ICE engineering department, there's an argument to be had that his lack of expertise in the auto industry also led to him making decisions that sparked a lot of the quality issues we see today.
His design thinking approach that came in handy for the development of the mach-e and maverick was a great addition to the company, but that's basically the only good thing he did imo.
Las Vegas Gas Prices Primed to Spike After Massive Chevron Refinery Fire
Las Vegas Valley gas prices could skyrocket following a large fire at a Southern California oil refinery.
Gas prices could rise between 35 and 95 cents per gallon, due to a Thursday fire and explosion at a Chevron refinery in El Segundo in Los Angeles County, according to Matt McClain, petroleum analyst with GasBuddy. The refinery produces fuel for Chevron, Texaco and Caltex.

It's so wild to me that I see Farley being attacked so often yet Hackett always seems to get a pass when most of the issues Ford has right now are because of him.
Ugh. The sensors weren't working on the Nautilus so they had to disable it there. They are working fine on the Corsair, so no need to disable it on the Corsair. No point in disabling it across the board if it's only malfunctioning on one line of vehicles.
Yes, a similar issue. Family owned dealership has two locations, a Ford store (downtown) and a Ford and Lincoln store (auto mall), about five miles apart. I’ve never been able to set the Lincoln store as my preferred dealer (I can select it in the app search but it doesn’t set and reverts to the downtown Ford store location as preferred on the main Service screen). My warranty service in August is recorded in the app.
